Whatever we feel about his performance and such it's incredibly harsh to suggest he's unphased by any of it simply because of the amount of money he makes. He obviously recognises he's having a torrid time of it doing the job that he's being paid for, like Zolayes said, he's still human and money doesn't necessarily mean every footballer doesn't have a right to be unhappy. Or that we should lack empathy.

Obviously he will be phased, but he deserves the criticism, He's a professional footballer, getting paid 180 thousand per week, while playing like a league 2 player...

it's not like we're insulting him personally, only his performances, so i'm not sure why people are saying we 'lack empathy' or whatever.

I also hate the way the media portray Torres as a little boy with no confidence... i think that's why many people feel sorry for him because they believe he is a fragile, child when in reality that's probably not the case.

@Blueoutwest He's the 6th richest player in PremierLeague history mate. His personal wealth is £15 million, he's wealthier then Garry Neville who played in this league for like 20 years, he obviously has many other business interests.
