its the same story mate. 50M for transfer fee and 45M for his wages if he signs a five year contract. reportedly at 175K per week.

I guess JT will also hand in a transfer request just to see his wages surpass 175K. Football gone crazy

Hey all, first post :)

I hope this transfer happens. No matter of the fee. Chelsea wont rely on Torres as much as Liverpool would, so whenever he picks up an injury, he won't be rushed back like he does at Anfield so we should have better results with Fernando. On form he is a deadly striker and would love a Torres + Drogba strike force.

Soccernet asserts that we offered 27 and then 32 millions, and that Abramovich is not likely to meet Liverpools asking price: 50m. Hope its true and we end up with Andy Carroll in the end of the day for 14 millions.
