we need our youth setup to have direction.

If they want to buy from south america or wherever else for that matter, buy the oscars and neymars of this world when they are 15 for 5-7 mill and develop them.

As a club, if we keep buying 20-30 mill players from all over the world , once these current legends that have been here all this while, Terry Lampard drogba etc are gone.....Once they retire or are sold, i fear we might not have a soul. We have to bring Youth players through.

None of these newer bunch of players we have acquired over the last 3-4 years will become legends.

Hernandez???

You can't be serious right? I know you hate when people ask you but are you are a ManUre fan? No-one other than ManUre fans think Hernandez is a good player. A mediocre player who scores tap ins and free headers. Had the luckiest season of all time in his first season.

No...Stick to europe talent, plenty of it and usualy most sucessful and less risky.

Sure player or two from Africa or South America is always welcome. I just hope we wont put too many brasil players (Oscar, Luiz, Rambo, Wallace,...) to our squad. No matter what some say brasil in pl unsucess is fairytale, but if Luiz and Rambo made it there, it doenst mean every brasil player will do it. Yesterday performance was dreadful, horrible, frustrating and unconnected in final. Problem with brasil players is they think are the best and they dont need to work hard; results will come from sky...then they lose and fall in crisis...not saying everyone but having too many brasil players in one team is this years not good. Their star Neymar was total

shit yesterday, all that individual dribbling is just unproper for today football where team work is most important. Not even saying about Mexico or even Usa...Some addition from Uruguay or Argentina would be welcome though.

Why not go to East Asia instead? Two out of four semifinalists were from there

would love to steal miyaichi from arsenal, and there are a couple of good young talent in the japan and south korea squad from the olympics. Its never bad to expand the market in Asia where the market is huge.

you have a rule in south america for some years you can't get players that less than 18 years old-you can see it with piazon we bought him an waited for him to be 18 to come to chelsea

There are some very good young mexicans.

But it's the only country of central america I see really interesting.

There always can be one exception in a country but still.

But yeah Mexico has some good players

No. Mexico aside, I don't think any other CONCACAF nation has produced a player that would get into our squad. American's, Canadian's, Guatemalan's, Caribbean Island nations, Panamanian's etc. aren't names you associate with good football prowess.

Western Africa is the hotspot. Central America/CONCACAF has been replaced by CAF as the third best confederation.

It surprises me how people cannot see that Mario Gomez is even shitter than Hernandez.

At least Hernandez you can bank on to not soil his underwear every time a chance comes his way in a big match. Credit where it's due, as far as useless goal poachers go, Hernandez is far from the epitome.
