No your point doesn't stand because you're implying Oscar isn't playing because his place is secured. He was dropped because he's a bad player, not because youngsters are being given a go and /or others are being put on the shop window.

Perhaps Oscar isn't playing because he's so shit the club don't want to put off any potential buyers.

Yeah our results corroborate this very balanced point of view of yours.

Because our results with Oscar in the side has been tremendous this year, right? And that too while we had a thing or 2 to play for compared to the current scenario.

Right but I was not the one making the correlation, you were.

Fine, then lets look at reasons why Guss would play costa ahead of traore, pedro ahead of Kenedy, mikel-cesc ahead of any youth player but he plays RLC ahead of oscar. Well I think a simple reason, Oscar has been found out and told he will be sold in the summer, simple as. The correlation was based on the selection, never on the result.

Our results and performances with or without oscar have been terrible this season. BUT, i do know one thing for a fact, oscar cant put in half as good a performance as RLC put in against city. FACT!

I actually agreed with your 'facts' , which are really opinions based on assumptions about a tampon manager's actions, until you mentioned RLC

That made me lol - RLC is still looking for that ball he sent to row Z.

let's see where each of our 'favs' will be playing next season. RLC is a youngster who will be nowhere near the starting xi next season - you can quote me on this one.

It's just opinions.

Atleast RLC could control and pass the ball. Unlike some other multi millionaire who has problems with the most basic of footballing abilities and attributes. But sure, he provides "balance". I am sure oscar will be a vital cog for some championship side or some chinese side. And I am also pretty sure he will reach his amazing "potential" at the age of 56. But i would be honored if Sir Oscar just leaves us and lets us be mediocre. We dont deserve his unbelievable footballing skills and balance providing.

It will be very interesting to see what the new manager thinks of Oscar and how to use him or not,too costly just to be a squad player and in that position we need someone to be consistently world class.

I don't want Conte to even consider looking at him, I want him out of this club and a replacement, top class #10 found.

In my opinion, a top class CM rather than a no.10. We will have either of cesc and RLC in the team. The best formation for both of them is 4-3-3.

Just answer the question: why wasn't Oscar playing when he was healthy and we were still playing for the FA Cup and Champions League?

How the fuck would I know?! You are the ones pretending to know things; like how much the will of the current tampon manager will affect next season.

I do think Fabregas and Pjanic could work, depending on the style of football we want to play. Of course, we'd need a great DM behind them. Something like what Barcelona used to do. Xavi = Fabregas, Pjanic = Iniesta. Again, that does mean that we require a different style of football but it could possibly work. Modern game does require some sort of engine in midfield though. It's necessary to have that sort of option in the squad. Against teams where we'll have lots of possession though, I wouldn't be against fielding the two together.

Selling Oscar for Pjanic is wise because at the very least it gives us a proper creative midfielder. We can then build around Fabregas, Pjanic etc. to compliment both/either with a strong B2B midfielder, a very good DM (could be Matic but I don't know), and maybe someone like RLC to fill in as a squad player. That'd be a great midfield core. Fabregas, Pjanic, x, x, RLC... With the x's being the aforementioned sort of players. Something like Nainggolan and Rubén Neves?

Mate, while I love the theory, the reality of it would be shocking, in my opinion.

Barcelona had a system to go along with xavi and iniesta. More importantly, Barcelona had Messi. Take out messi and you wou will see a massive difference in them. Emulating the best team to ever have played is a dangerous path to take and one which we definitely should not be going down. Cesc, Pjanic, Matic still does not solve our problems. We will again be over run. We will again have to face teams match after match who bully us on the ocunter while having no answer to any of them. Another thing that this midfield does not solve is physicality. Matic is a softie, despite his size. Pjanic and cesc are well... lesser said the better.

Honestly speaking, going into the season which this midfield 3 would be really disappointing and an indication of not to expect much. On the other hand, if we replace either of pjanic/cesc with radja, we have a well balanced (-ish) team.

Yeah, I'm well aware that we'd get steamrolled by certain teams hence why I highlighted that it's a must to bring in a great B2B midfielder like Nainggolan, who we can then alternate with someone like Fabregas or Pjanic in games where we can somewhat get outmuscled in midfield. What I was trying to get at is that it would be good to have the option of all three, not only for the sake of playing them together - if either Fabregas or Pjanic get off form, we'll have a great option in replacing either. Competition is good, it could bring the best out of both.

My main point really is that getting in Pjanic for Oscar would improve the options in the squad significantly (as long as we also go out to purchase a good energetic, physical midfielder like Radja).

So you don't know why he was dropped but you're disputing the notion he was dropped because he's shit - which is, funnily enough, the most plausible reason considering his form and fitness. You make no sense. Just admit you're arguing for no reason and keep it moving.

Yes I am because to me he is only one of poor players in the squad and also far from the poorest one - market agrees.

I could prove with numbers that you are wrong, but you'd just dismiss it for no reason.

we will see who is right soon enough.

oscar will be with us or another top club, say juve... The horror!!! :)

By your logic the pickings of the tampon manager is the law of the land and that's just crazy.
