Chelsea v Barca III: Blues and the Spanish giants both want Benfica starlet

Champions League foes are set for another battle, this time over 20-year-old Portugal international striker Nelson Oliveira

Chelsea are battling it out with Barcelona for Benfica’s hot prospect Nelson Oliveira.

The 20-year-old has earned himself a full Portugal call-up after an impressive season and now Chelsea and Barca are scouting him.

Meanwhile, Blues misfit Gael Kakuta is wanted on a season-long loan by Espanyol and, after having a loan spell at Dijon, he may be farmed out again to help him progress.

http://www.mirror.co...-benfica-838032 mirror isn't the most reliable link but still a rumor.

Never seen him play apart from the minutes he got against us at the Bridge but hes meant to be good. Does any Portuguese users or Portuguese league followers know more?

He has potential to be a star....but as others have said, that's not what we need right now, we already have Lukaku filling that role. In a couple of years he will be the next Benfica player after Gaitan and Witsel to be sold for 25-30 mil.

Exactly. Now Gaitan, on the other hand is who we should be going after.
