i'm extremely shocked, awesome! Just heard about it on setanta news. Worry over. Remember the Date, 4th March 2008, the FA Used Common sense to rescind a Chelsea red card.

Then again it werent until the linesmen spoke to the ref did the red come out.Think if the ref had given the red stright away then it wouldnt have been overturned

The ammount of red cards this season that havent been overturned and then one of the FA's superstars comes and appeals and its overturned.

The FA are a joke, Steve Gibson was 100% correct with his comments last week.

Once the ref admitted he was wrong the FA had no choice but to rescind it. I was away at the weekend so didnt see the incident but having watched it earlier today I couldnt believe he was sent off in the first place. The card was a bloody joke and for a change justice has been done. First time for everything I guess.

Replays show that there was no push to the face, therefore no red card was needed.

Simple as.
