At least 21,507 people have been killed in Gaza since the war with Israel broke out nearly 12 weeks ago (Reuters). Another estimated 15 000 are buried under rubble. That figure included 187 fatalities over the previous 24 hours. At least 308 people have been killed while sheltering in UN shelters.

South Africa has launched a case against Israel at the UN’s international court of justice (ICJ) accusing the state of committing genocide in its military campaign in Gaza.

 Israel has just killed a Hamas leader in Beirut with a precision strike without much damage. More proof that they have the resources and backing for these precision attacks.

These bombings and genocidal killings of innocents, mostly children, just means they want to flatten Gaza for future illegal settlements.

Hamas is an excuse. A weapon of mass distraction.

They actively state they are going to bomb civilians, women and children. They stated they will stop all water, food and electricity to 2.3 million civilians. This is genocide.

The English are wild peoples, the Scots are civilized.
It seems the English are left with very few friends nowadays.
Back in 2006 I was invited to the VIP of Athens race course.
I sat on a table in the company of some Irish and there was an embassy attache with them.
The Irish wanted to sell horses to Greek owners.
It was world cup days and some of the tv screens were broadcasting football from Germany.
Our attention was drawn to the tv screens showing the race horses of course but from somewhere I heard the announcement England had scored against Equador.
So I says "wow, nice, England one up".
The embassy man became rather uncourteous "shame on you" he says "you support the scum".

The weirdest thing about visiting Europe was seeing that other Europeans dont really like the English that much.

 

I mean coming from America, who fought two wars against them, England is pretty loved here.  We love their stars, their tv(although repackaged as ours), their royal family. I remember back in the 00's that even having a "posh" accent was enough for women to sleep with you. It holds cache over here for sure.

The royal family is half Greek first of all.
But these days they can do nothing.
The Tories would go about with their heads tucked underneath their arm for starters.

They are just about half German too, but to us they simple just represent the English exoticism that was en vogue in America for large parts of the 20th century.

 

I dont think the average person in America could find Greece on a map😂

Lived in Long Beach for a while and visited a club one night, the Red Onion (where OJ Simpson picked up a waitress that he later married and murdered, allegedly). Anyway I was pissed (inebriated not angry) and the doormen just werent letting me in.....then ''hey you're English ? Come in my man''

Yea. I think its the James Bond effect. If you're English in America, you're seen as cool😂

Similar scenario here Americans are seen as cool - though people are people at the end of the day regardless of which bit of land they come from. Though its funny, if you really want to upset a Canadian -ask them where in the US are you from ? They go ballistic
