Chairman of Danish FA and member of UEFA executive committee Jesper Møller expects that the 12 clubs will be expelled on friday.

Jesper Møller says that an extraordinary executive committee meeting is being held friday and Jesper Møller expects that the 12 clubs will be expelled.

"... Then you must see how you finish the Champions League"

Furthermore UEFA will give the players' the choice of staying at the current club or terminate their contracts.

"I believe that the contracts automatically terminates when the clubs leaves. Then the players are free to chose to play in a club that's part of solidarity and community - our pyramidesystem"

Super League clubs net €200m-€300m welcome bonus provided by JPMorgan underwriting a €3.25b infrastructure grant that will be shared among the clubs. A source though said the payment is an advance on future revenues & would have to be repaid if any club chose to leave the ESL.

That 200-300 isn't even that much in modern football. We wasted that amount on Kepa, Morata, Bakayoko and Drinkwater

Seriously wonder how the players feel about it. Take for example our new Germans, Timo and Kai. Both German national team regulars but suddenly they will be banned from playing for the country. And there are much, much more. I am really wondering how they actually feel about it.

Well they can always leave so I don't fele too bad for them. But what about our own academy kids like Mason or Reece. They always wanted to play for Chelsea specifically

There is an argument for more European football, I feel.
It can be done, though I don't know how popular it might be.
I described a such scheme a few posts above.
However the Mac Guire-Spuds scheme as I call it is nothing like that. It's like the old movies with Norman Wisdom, with the rich kid taking the ball home. It's nonsense.

Maybe they will happen, maybe they will not but I wonder how many of the 12 clubs thought thoroughly of the consequences of forming the Super League.

Being thrown out of European and domestic competitions. Players banned from representing their country. Threat of players potentially walking away from their contract. There are probably more but those are already A LOT, HEAVY consequences to take.
