OhForAGreavsie 6,111
Glad to see some improvement from City. Suits Chelsea's interests for Monaco to go out tonight.
Leif 6,006
Our French pastries are tiring. This late City goal will break my heart for a night.
Leif 6,006
Chalobah is 22 and RLC is 21. They're about good enough to start week in week out for a Championship side pushing for promotion. Mbappe is 18 and about good enough to start week in week out for a Champions League winning team. It's enlightening watching him. Even Lukaku is only 1 year older than our youngsters I just mentioned yet 3 if not 4 times the player. Hope we get rid of the posers and get in the real wonderkids soon. It's satisfying on another level seeing genuinely young players playing a genuinely top, proactive game. DYC.
DYC. 7,542
Get that third goal. Already knew they would score.
Leif 6,006
That was quite predictable. Barring an injury you should be removing any player, even your goalkeeper, before one of your integral defenders, even if they're tired. You completely change the rhythm your backline is playing with. Very, very, very naive and I'm sure all of us thought 'cmon, dont do that' when we saw that sub. Leif 6,006
If they suddenly relax again they'll be displaying a typical mentality we had up until Conte arrived. It's the only thing in football which makes me feel physically sick with frustration, watching people who should be elite just turning off with quarter of an hour to go. Leif 6,006
And bringing Moutinho on is like bringing Matic on but with less strength. These are really bad potential subs. None are proactive so far. Go for more goals you bastard. Thus we introduce one of the most passive players in Europe. AND he takes off his best player to do so lol. What a weird guy man. OhForAGreavsie 6,111
Oh well, Guardiola did say his side would need to score twice to avoid going out. Which is the same as saying he thought they'd concede 3.

DYC. 7,542
Damn. If I was a betting man, I would've made real money. Monaco in the next round. Brilliant. I need Monaco or Dortmund in the final. Preferably both.

Was going to bet on Mbappé scoring and a 3-1 victory for Monaco but I forgot..... -.- Bet on Neymar and Suaréz scoring so the Barca victory over PSG var sweet for me DYC.
Leif 6,006
City won't win the Champions League within the next 10 years at least. They've got such a pathetic return for all they've invested. They for sure have played the sexiest football in England since they became top dogs, but their yield is so very low.
