I agree what a weird choice. Andrich and xhaka such a great shield for the defence. Palacios not on the same level. Esp now it has backfired cos subbing on andrich wont be of much use when hunting the Equalizer. Still I expect them to find it

Alonso HAS to bring on a proper CF or they are going to get wiped

Leverkusen have benefited from superior fitness when scoring in the final minutes. I don’t expect Atalanta to cave in physically like westham did. No team has ever approached Leverkusen like Atalanta does, chocking their build up through the middle

Where is this coming from?

I remember 6-7 years ago Lookman played against Manchester City, it was maybe his first PL-game ever(or among first ones) for Everton, and he was wonderful, Everton won 4-0. Then it didn't really work out for him at Leipzig and wherever he was, but good to see him thriving.

I was going to say exactly that. He overthought the decision, which could cost them the perfect season.

I'm not sure if you're talking about my feeling of an EPL return or his fine form since joining Atalanta.

If it's the latter, the move to Atalanta has seen him flourish (perfect environment) and go from strength to strength. It's also translated on the INT stage; arguably Nigeria's best attacker at this year's AFCON.
