Arse are like the new Pool of last year and before (back when they finally won the league and also when they won the CL)

and Manure back in the day

playing like shit and pulling it out late

Raya had a very good game as well..just shows what a difference a class goalie can have! Played a huge part in this win

Thought be a win but to win last minute and be Havertz booo...but expected them to go through this round anyway so not surprised. Still annoying though

Bayern will score another 2 at home at least

I think at Bayern scores at least 3

no Tchouameni is a huge hole in the middle of the park for Real

Camavinga and Valverde will have to really step up

and Bells will probably be forced to play deeper, especially if Camavinga doesnt start again

That is because if the Gunners avoided defeat in their Champions League quarter-final first leg at the Jose Alavade Stadium, then the Premier League would definitely have five spots available in Europe’s premier competition next season.

It is the second successive year that England’s top flight has had five qualification spaces, as the Premier League sits top of the European Performance Standings, UEFA’s coefficient rankings.

The Premier League lead La Liga by a landslide in the rankings, and all it needed was Arsenal not to lose in Lisbon on Tuesday in order to guarantee an additional Champions League place.

That comes as a huge boost to Chelsea, Manchester United, Liverpool and Aston Villa, who are all in the race to finish in the top five this term.

United sit third in the driving seat after their revolution under head coach Michael Carrick, with Aston Villa on their tails in fourth, just one point off.

Arsenal wont win it

let's hope they FAIL at that

and the cherry on the top would be Citeh chases them down for the EPL title

that would give them ZERO trophies when a month ago they thought they would get a quadruple with a chance for the first ever (by any team, and now only English teams can do it in normal years, as no other Big 5 league has a secondary cup now that Ligue 1 flushed the Coupe de la Ligue after 2020) linear discrete (meaning 7 different trophies) Septuple (as if they had won the quad they would play, all in a row, 3 cups they would be the huge favourites inin the UEFA Super Cup, then in the Community Shield, and then finally the FIFA Intercontinental Cup in December next season)

One last point:

Now that FIFA was the new massively expanded World Club Cup every 4 years, a non English club can, in a FIFA WCC year win a linear septuple (PSG would have had a shot if they had beaten us in the final) and an EPL team can win a linear OCTUPLE

Also (and this would take a one in a 1000 timing for winning all the trophies  and only can happen once every 4 years as well) a non EPL team could win a same season septuple and an EPL team could win the ultimate påossible: a same season Octuple

to do that same season Octuple an EPL team would have to do the following (and this is CRAZY)

A. qualify for next season's Community Shield (via either winning the EPL or the FA Cup, or both)

B. win the CL (which ends that season and is needed to qualify for some of what comes next)

C. the NEW season starts, and now the EPL team would have to win all EIGHT trophies they will play for in the new season:

1. Win the 'once-every-4-years' FIFA World Club Cup

2. Win The UEFA Super Cup (as they won the CL the season before to qualify)

3. Win the Community Shield (as they qualified for it the season before)

4. Win the FIFA Intercontinental Cup (as they won the CL the season before to qualify for it)

5. Win the League Cup

6. Win the FA Cup

7. Win the EPL

8. Win the CL (so back to back CL wins, lol)

at that point the season ends and that EPL team has won EIGHT trophies, ALL in the same season (a non EPL team could win a same season Septuple, as again, they have no secondary domestic cup)

and linearly the EPL team would have won at LEAST 9 trophies in a row (as in this scenario they won the CL the season before, and IF they qualified for the Community Shield by winning the EPL they would have at least 10 trophies linearly, maybe more if they also had won the FA Cup, and 11 in a row if they also won the League Cup, etc etc)

plus IF the EPL team did win the same season Octuple, at bare minimum they would be favourites to win (at minmum, as they would already have at least 9 trophies in a row, see above) TWELVE trophies in a row (or more, see above, it would be at least 14 trophies in a row if they had also won the FA Cup and the League Cup the season before the same season Octuple, at least 15 trophies in a row IF they had also won the CS the season before the same season Octuple)

as by winning the CL again and by wining the EPL and the EPL and the FA Cup in the same season Octuple that qualifies the EPL team for at least 3 more trophies in a row, all 3 very winnable in the season after the same season Octuple:

1. the UEFA Super Cup (again),

2. the CS (again, and qualified for as they won the EPL and the FA Cup),

and

3. the FIFA Intercontinental Cup (again)

madness

Theyre getting reamed, but not conceding like we did....yet. 1-0

Thats it only 1-0 down..if they end up like this at the end they could have a chance at Anfield

Hopefully PSG can do something though! And not let them back in

Exactly. PSG havent capitalised on their chances.

Athletico 1 up as well. Think either them or Barca would beat the gooners.

Let's hope so. Raya had such a good game yesterday must be kicking themselves for using Kepa in the 2 cups they did.
