BlueLion. 21,491
Heroic performance by him, very proud of his showing.
The Big Drog 1,110
As BlueLion says, he deserves a tonne of praise for his performance last night in extremely difficult circumstances. Yes he is prone to the odd mistake and lapse of concentration but this is a guy who cost 20 million who was a regular starter for one of the top international teams in the world, he isn't some randomer we plucked off the street and, while I would also prefer Ivanovic to be able to start at right back, Bosingwa should be able to do a job there in the final. English Freak 456
Best of luck to Bosingwa in the UCL final. Did well against Barcelona, but should be sold in the next transfer window as part of the rebuilding process.
BlueLion. 21,491
^ I totally agree, but he put in a shift on Tuesday and will be remembered as one of the Nou Camp Heroes.
Tomo 21,751
Reckon we have indirectly found a 4th choice centre half?

Jase 43,479
Pathetic defending from him and Sturridge for Cisse's first goal yesterday. Just look how easy did Santon cut inside and passed it to Cisse, who was of course, left in acres of space in the penalty box himself! Term-X 7,891
I wonder if AVB will go after him in the summer, he's followed a similar pattern before by trying to sign Pereira from his former club. He fucking loved Bosingwa, even preferred him over Bertrand at left back, practically untouchable during his tenure (for the most part). So Bosingwa always found himself in the starting XI

When everyone was fit at the back, bar the first few games of the season, Iva always started ahead of Bos at RB.

When everyone was fit at the back, bar the first few games of the season, Iva always started ahead of Bos at RB.He clearly rated Bosingwa, pre-season onwards he was gearing up to be our first choice RB. Even when Ivanovic returned he was still favoured for his attacking instincts. It took monumentally poor performances even by his standards until AVB saw sense, Bosingwa suited his naive philosophy. I remember he was only dropped after he was the main cause for several costly goals. I hope you're right and he still rates him and wants him at Roma. It sure took long enough for AVB to realize his deficiencies when it comes to defending!

Yes but let's not forget that offensively he was rather good at the start of the season, earned a few late points.
