If this happens I am will be much more optimistic about our future. It is the right move. If they are not ready to accept a lesser role at the club they should move on. Simple as that.

The only thing that is worrying me is that we miss out on CL football next season which will make it difficult for us to attract top players as replacements for our departing ones.

Players like Lampard, Drogba, Malouda and Cole should be playing well and leading the team week and week out for the wages they have and everyone knows it is not something they do.

Also, rioting against the manager and causing dressing room war is stupid. Yes, AVB fucked up the tactics a couple of times, but then again, you can't expect any team to change their tactics and start bringing great results right away. They are professional football players who are payed large sums of money to play football, not to discuss the starting lineup or our tactics. For that, we have a manager.

What have they done rioting against AVB? Our results are worse now and not they have compromised their own future at the club.

Fair comment, I just feel that some of these players are just dead wood anyway, I mean look at Ferreira & Hilario? I respect both players especially Ferreira but they never play & to me they are holding back are youth players. I think its time we started promoting are youth/reserves to some of the positions that are vacated this would save on transfer fees & huge salaries & then we could spend a decent sum on 3 perhaps 4 quality additions & I mean real quality not run of mill rubbish, fuck the puppets out of buying players & leave it to the manager again, like Kenyon's relationship with Mourinho, Jose gave him a list in the summer & Kenyon done the rest (before Roman got his fingers in the pie) This squad needs rebuilding, I've always said its 2 years too late but unfortunately its better late than never.

ٍRegardless the way you have put that down but some of those ideas look superb !! ,

Yes , i would like to see all of Bosingwa , Cole , Ferrera , Malouda , Kalou ,Mikel , Drogba , Meireles and 1 of Essien or Lampard out of chelsea FC and i am looking forward to the introduction of Swift , Josh , Paizon and youth players , in fact i am still excited about Kakuta with all of his dissappointements but he still has a better chance to become a world-class player than Torres to be a decent forward .

And about the additions and the money , i am very glad that we have Abrahimovic to back us up but if we sell those big old useless players and replace with younger players , we will decrease our wage bill to at least its half while having a much better team , so in the long run not very costy.

But i know such a plan will have to take place gradually , and won't happen in 1 or 2 seasons and hopefully that is the 3 years project AVB is always talking about , i know most will think that this season shouldn't be counted as part of a transitional period because of no youth integration but in fact this season is one the most important in any transition period as it will hopefully be remembered as the season when the likes of Anelka , Malouda , Kalou , Bosingwa , Ferrera and such bought their tickets out of the club.

Yes no maybe so but youth can only be implemented when things are going good. If we bring on Bertrand now, my oh my the risk is as high as mount everest! Blame would go to avb for experimenting in a time of a dire crisis!!

The problem is simply th owner!! Roman. Firing people left right center! How can anybody worry about the future when it all about now, and the next game!! Arsene and Sir Alex can assure targets of where they see them playing an can actually stay there long enough to keep that promise! Stability stability stability! You almost nailed this BB, however you omitted Ferreira from your list to be sold & you are right about Drogba but I will get back to that later in my post. All those players need to go first before you start getting rid of the players that we need to keep for a while longer yet, yes used less but let's use their experience to help promote the exciting youth we have got coming through the ranks & who better than lamps, Essien, Cole & Drogba, besides the hierarchy have got their fingers burnt before with letting decent players go to soon.

Now I'm surprised that this thread has not had more exposure as to me this situation is the most pertinent issue that needs to be addressed at our club because the way I see things at the mo, is a power struggle between manager & senior players that is having a detrimental effect that is affecting the club from top to bottom. I'm not going to go into the politics of whose right & whose wrong but I will say that the senior players are giving the exact reaction you would want from top pro's, I just wish they could show more dignity by keeping their grudges in house. As for AVB, I think he has made mistakes with poor man management, he needs to get these senior players on his side & this is were Drogba comes in, for me he would make a terrific coach, so with one common sense decision the club could have a win-win situation on their hands if they installed him as player coach, he wants to stay, has Chelsea in his blood, the players respect him & he could act as the negotiator between the players & Andre. Yes I did say that DROGBA FOR PLAYER COACH - you heard it first!

Lastly the only way I cannot see a change is if we turn our season around, otherwise something has got to give the manager or the senior players? The next couple months will reveal all, I will say one thing - there's never a dull moment at our club nowadays!!!

I wouldn't mind selling Cole either but only if a substantial offer of say 15m+ was offered.Don't get me wrong,I like Cole.He's been a terrific player for us and has always been consistent but he is blocking a start for Ryan.We must implement our youth prospects on the field from time to time as it will give them vital experience of the premier league.Ryan looks like a great prospect and can be a great replacement for Cole.He needs to be played more often and this can only happen if Cole leaves but then again AVB might consider another world class left back as his replacement,so its up to the manager to decide.

Not many clubs will offer a lot of money for a 32 year old left back,so its time we sell our players at the right and try to get a profit.Plus his wages are just outrageous,150k a week is just uncanny.
