Are you serious? Have you actually watched any City games in the league this season? I have. WBA, was immense. When we played them, Costa could not get a sniff once again against him. Everton he had a good battle with Lukaku and bar one run he was excellent. Watford was not tested really and Palace not sure, did not see but skysports gave him 7 rating which is quite good. Kompany is quite a proactive CB as well tbh. Not as much as Luiz but no different to Otamendi. Otamendi was not good at all imo. Was not as bad as Demi but none of them gave the physical prescence Kompany gives them.

Koompany for them this season is what Terry was for us last season. If he remains consistent throughout the season is another question. He has been faultless this season. His extra work in the gym pre-season has paid off. Looks a total beast and seems to have recovered the pace. Silva has been a loss but as I was saying they have been fine in attack. Against Juventus, first game Silva was injured/playing hurt, that is when they got exposed and should of lost 3-0 to Juve..... Silva couldn't control the tempo/possession and City were easy to take on

He's still a very good player, excellent on counterattacks, he's no silva in terms of controlling the match tempo but his ability is still good.

His defensive workrate is poor though.

You can say this a thousand times more, doesn't make it anymore true. In any of his City games, KDB was one the players with the highest workrate and distance run. In the West Ham-game he ran the most miles of every players, including the opposition players. City-fans are impressed with his workrate, especially when playing as a number 10.

You can't fault KDB for workrate.
