Ginobili turned back the clock, Timmy did what he always does, Parker proved again why he's one of the top-5 PGs in the league, Kawhi rose to the occasion on a day that wasn't just special for him due to the MVP trophy and Diaw yet again showed why he's the best fat athlete in the world of basketball.

Congrats Spurs, well deserved.

Spurs #5 Cory Joseph from my hometown grew up play ball vs each other elementary and high school and he's now an NBA Champion!!

You guys are from Pickering or Ajax? Lots of young Canadian NBA talent now. Joseph, Tristan Thompson, Anthony Bennett, and soon Andrew Wiggins.

Why does the Canadian basketball NT not do well, though? I remember we (Lebanon) played them a few times. IIRC each side won twice.

I don't know. We've never seemed to have the right balance of players. If we had a young Steve Nash coming along with this group, I'd be very excited for our future! There is a lot of ball being played in Canada, especially in the GTA. It was massive at my high school and a few people got scholarships to American universities.

Chicago, LA, or Houston. Doubt he goes to Miami.

Don't know why but have a feeling he could end up at the Rockets. Have a feeling Rockets are going to make a big splash next season, amidst rumours about a "big three" & that they're trying to get in Lionel Hollins as assistant HC.

Howard just doesn't fit their system. And im not sure how another player who shoots too much and doesn't play enough defense (Harden) will propel them to a title. Melo should go to Chicago. Houston is a bad choice.

Never really talked about them actually getting the title or how he'd fit into McHale's system, was just saying that I can imagine Houston really trying to go for Melo.

I agree with you that the Bulls are probably his best destination, but whether they can get him and challenge for rings really depends on whether he'll believe that D. Rose will come back healthy and show that he can still ball at MVP levels. Plus the TT factor... Melo and Noah would actually be a pretty nice front court though if they went small and played him at PF.

I doubt they can win a title with them. But i do think they'll go for him. Possibly even Clippers could. It's a long shot. Chicago were rumored to let Thibs go to Minnesota for Love, which I'd prefer. As I'm a Bulls fan. Love/Noah is a way better frontcourt anyways. Very dynamic. If Rose can stay healthy they could win the title. With the right coach. I think Melo will join D12 though.
