Strange decision for me. Wasn't even that big a game. Players miss pens all the time, to fine him is harsh & doesn't surprise me if the players do turn on the manager.

But it's far from what does Felix Magath at Wolfsburg, we already know that bottles of waters, snoods and other gloves (even long sleeves if I remember well) are forbidden even during the winter ; he fines his players 1.000€ for an unjustified pass backward to the goalkeeper.

I think Jol was in his right, if Orlando Sa is the designated penalty taker of the team it's completely logical that he is furious if another player whines to kick it... Kasami was not designated, that's all... Imagine if Malouda take the ball to Lampard and miss the penalty, you would all be furious against him !

Anyway it's not the only one disciplinary fine already existing, when a player gives his shirt in the crowd he is fined but who really gives a fuck regarding the much they earn ? The bill is virtually the same as Kasami's and nobody makes a big deal about it
