I've been doing some research on the NFL etc. over the past week or so.

However; I have absolutely no idea which team to root for.

I can't really use things like 'which team is the most attractive' etc. as they can't exactly be an elegant team when playing this sport, but can someone give me some background on some of the decent teams to follow?

I'm kinda clueless right now.

The NFL is largely about parity (or mediocrity if you want to be negative) so the teams that have long-term success are able to do so are usually because of 2 things 1) Great coaching which matters more in this sport than any other 2) Elite QB which is the most important player on the field. My suggestion to you is to do some research. Maybe, look at some uniforms, read about history, maybe pick a team from a city you've been to or know about, and then just choose and don't look back. There is an NFL game in London this year St. Louis versus New England so maybe pick one of those. (Rams had a very exciting team about a decade ago, used to be based in L.A. and then moved and New England has been amazing for a long time. Excellent coach, excellent QB.)

I'd say watch a couple games (more than a couple actually) of different teams and you will eventually find a team which you like more than others.

Choose one of the following:

Blue-in-me-Veins = NY Jets, rival (NY Giants)

Sheva = Washington Redskins, rival (Dallas Cowboys)

Hutch = NE Patriots - I think - rival (NY Jets and Indianaplis Colts)

Rmpr = Chicago Bears, rival (Green Bay Packers)

I know you must choose whatever team you feel a connection with, but it would be awsome to have a good rivary between TC members...
