teignman 441
A win-win from my standpoint. Takes a promising young player from smeltic and gives us a prospect with pace and ability that can play Striker or AM.
Beast 85
Islam Shouldn't it be Muslim Feruz?Because Islam is the actual religion, you don't see Christian parents naming their son 'Christianity'.

Peace. 4,352
So...is he Muslim? If he is a somali-born, then he is most certainly muslim. Somalia is a muslim country.Islam Shouldn't it be Muslim Feruz?Because Islam is the actual religion, you don't see Christian parents naming their son 'Christianity'.No, that shouldn't be.Because, 'Christianity' means nothing. At the contrary, in arabe the word 'islam' has a meaning : 'submission to Allah/God'.
Gaffney 0
Tommy Burns worked really hard to stop Islam Feruz and his family get deported back to Somalia. He is a great talent and it would be a shame to see him vanish into the crowd at Chelsea. So many young talented players do well for Chelsea youth but where do they go ? It would be far better for him to stay at Celtic until he gets some reputation. Pay some respect to Burns, if it wasn't for him you and your family wouldn't even be in the country.I hope this news is fake. Also he is a Man Utd fan. ulsterchelsea 3,221
From what I've heard, Celtic fans had singled Islam out to be a future star and had been paying attention to his progress for years. They must be gutted. they probably had but seeing as celtic and the scottish league is shite i wouldnt get too excited about that
Gaffney 0
they probably had but seeing as celtic and the scottish league is shite i wouldnt get too excited about thatCeltic have a very good youth team. Celtic beat Liverpool youth 3-1 last November with that Raheem Sterling that you's seem to be raving about. Celtic won 3-1 Raheem Sterling looked good but Filip Twardzik did better. He is starting to push for a first team spot and is only 17.Celtic are also in the Next Gen Series like a UCL for youth players. Celtic are with Barcelona, Manchester City and Marseille.http://www.nextgenseries.com/the-clubs.phpDaniel Sturridge has shown that it's much better for development and reputation to get a game every week for a smaller team that sit on the bench or in the stands for a bigger team. The only reason Chelsea would be good for him is cash, supposedly getting a house and £2.5k a week which he doesn't deserve yet. Many teams have withdrawn.

Second, Chelsea is good for him not only monetarily, but for his development. He has a chance to develop at a better academy and play with/against a higher level of players. Madmax 9,219
@Gaffney : Don't be daft. You know exactly how big clubs work. Celtic is a relatively big club as well and have on numerous occasions in the past poached exploited legal loopholes to land youngsters. He has a chance to develop at a better academy and play with/against a higher level of players.I was talking about England, he was playing well for the English youths and everyone was saying he's the new so and so. Play against a higher level of player, where is the evidence that it's good ? Brazil have some of the best youth players in the world but they don't play with the best players in the world. What does make a good player is the natural skill, coaching and the opportunity to step up. At Chelsea your chance to step up is very limited at the moment. You really want first team football by about 20. In Brazil it's very easy for youth players to break through.then they should promote their youth side cause their first team is garbageHow many times has Chelsea won the UEFA Champions league ? None, Celtic have so your team is garbage. Don't rant about how good Chelsea are because it's not your team it's Roman's team. The fans make a club. Last young CF we had did really well in Championship.
