The club have clearly explained to him the situation knowing that depending on his progression it could take between 2 months and a year to break in. It will be hard for him for sure, but we signed him because he is highly talented and highly rated so if he can settle he will make his impact. Who would have thought when Mikel came in as an 18 year old with midfielders like Maka, Essien, Lampard and Ballack that he would establish himself as an important and regular member of the team in just 6 months!!!
