Okay guys. This is a Chelsea forum, if you are not going to discuss Chelsea matters then discuss them elsewhere, or in the So Bar at the very minimum. Its time to act like adults, but at the moment all of this bitching makes a lot of people seem like children. And well done to we hate scouse, EskWeston and GZ, because this is a topic on Franco di Santo, so the rest of you take your macho attitude elsewhere.

I hope to see him in action soon really... I know with Didier Kalou Sheva and Anelka that might be a while but he seems like a very exciting player from what I have seen.

It will be hard for him for sure, but we signed him because he is highly talented and highly rated so if he can settle he will make his impact. Who would have thought when Mikel came in as an 18 year old with midfielders like Maka, Essien, Lampard and Ballack that he would establish himself as an important and regular member of the team in just 6 months!!!

Along with Mikel, other youngsters have came into sides and fitted in easily.....Messi and Pato for instance, even Anelka when he was at Arsenal. If he's good enough he will get his chance sooner rahter than later ;)

Yes very true, the best youngsters always get their chances. Although us as a club have a reputation for not giving youngsters a chance, the Mikel example is one which disproves that and hopefully Di Santo will be another......

The thing is di santo might have just as much talent as mikel but he might not have the natrual power. See with mikel he came to the prem and people could not intimadate him

because he is so powerful. The thing a young player who is coming to the prem needs is strength, if di santo has just as much talent as robben and he has no strength he will find

it hard.
