it is a disease in itself but although she was just a kid when she got tangled up in that leach that she married,who seems to have totally screwed her up,albeit she could have said no ..you just can`t help people if they refuse to help themselves tho, they could only do about 10% of the hardwork for her but she had to roll up her sleaves and do the rest but time and time again she couldn`t..she died about 3 years ago really..

i can`t comfortably condemn her because i would feel a hypocrite after being a former addict myself . but what can ya do..like you say there`s those of us who are fighting to live and other people just throwing their life away.

i`ll never understand the view that if people have a human weakness they deserve to die..which is what has been happening,when you strip things down..

then on the flipside there`s folks around the world who are treating her like she is a Martyr..

and the fact that i just know just like with Elvis and the "weird one", the week after her death is gonna be when she sells more records than she ever did in a week during her lifetime,reminded me of this ditty from the (In my opinion) greatest band that ever lived.

I agree Amy deserves to rest in peace and deserves to be treated more respectfully than some are doing, but Norway is more important. I loved Winehouse's voice and I quite liked some of her music as well, but she is one person who did little but encourage death through alcohol and drug abuse. That fact can only deflect sympathy elsewhere. The people massacred in Norway are the innocent victims of horrific terror attacks. That is what is more tragic, and, ultimately, what is more important.

if you had a loved one who has a serious addiction or addictions you would realise how much suffering is involved to the addict and the ones who love them .

addiction like depression is an illness hopefully with more research into the depressive and addictive genes eventually cures will be found ...

But I'm sick of people criticising people who are paying respect for Amy Winhouse, because they think it means people don't care about Norway. Of course they do. Ironically, it's the people who didn't mention anything about Norway before Winehouse died that are the most vocal about criticising about those who are saying something.

Been listening to some of her stuff seeing as the radio is playing it ad nauseum -some good song production from the studio Ronson, but it's just Detroit -lite. If you want the real McCoy listen to some proper Motown.

She had a good life -man if it's true the amount of shit she took she had some terrific highs, and if I'm being cynical, when her agents realised they couldnt get her off her coke and booze, they realised like Michael Jacksons agents -she's worth more dead than alive.
