What a c***! Spent ages talking about moving to Madrid, went AWOL to force move, took pot shots at the club after leaving and he has the audacity to play the victim here?! Normally, I don't wish ill on any of our ex players but Courtois is making himself an exception. Hope he suffers at Real!

Video: Thibaut Courtois all at sea as Real Madrid concede and these Chelsea fans are loving it

Thibaut Courtois did not cover himself in glory here as Athletic Bilbao took a 1-0 lead over Real Madrid in tonight’s La Liga clash.

The Belgian was all at sea as he came rushing out of goal, with the ball eventually bundling its way past him into the penalty area for Bilbao to score into an empty net.

Courtois: "I didn't know that Navas is such a good goalkeeper. To be fair, I miss my friends in London. I can see myself playing at Arsenal, they have the best stadium in England and I love the way they play. They play the best football in the EPL. I hope my kids can move with me, but that won't be a big problem I think."

WOW, just WOW!!

He is one mental rotter. As confused as Morata, maybe more so, and a far more vindictive person, I might add. Morata seems a nice enough bloke, just has lost all confidence.

How the fuck did he NOT know that Navas was realllly good (although i personally never wanted him ever)???? 3 in a row CL's, ofttimes with spectacular saves. SMDH.

I hate the Emirates btw, seems totally synthetic and bland (sorta like the team!!)

I am amazed that you pick up on Navas and the stadium.

He stated that he wanted to return to madrid to be with his kids the major reason for  leaving us and now he is like "meh moving them to London wont be a problem"

WTF is wrong with this guy. When there is one thing I hate more than liars are liars that are too dumb or just too careless to even conceal their lies or being somewhat consistent with it.

And then this Arsenal line which gives away that he did not only leave us because he is a superficial gloryhunter or because he prefers Madrid over London but he basically admitted that even likes fuckin Arsenal over us. WTF is wrong with him? Both on intellectual and character level he is just subhuman.  I hope his curse continues and he is at fault for a goal every match and never wins a title again.

Googled a few lines from that quote, zero hits. That is written by a gooner troll 100% unless you can provide a reliable source for this quote (I hate controversial posts that don't link any sources, the internet is full of trolls and people are gullible enough to gobble all that shit up). That's from a random twitter account, isn't it?

Courtois move to Real Madrid has been anything but a 'dream' so far

http://www.goal.com/en-in/news/courtois-move-to-real-madrid-has-been-anything-but-a-dream/myah9wam5aax10uk066anqq0i

The Belgian was expected to be an instant star at the Bernabeu but he has struggled for regular game time and top form since his move from Chelsea
It seemed like the usual banality, but Thibaut Courtois was on the money when he said he wouldn’t instantly become No.1 as he was presented as a new Real Madrid player.

Yet from the outside there didn’t look to be much doubt about the Belgian’s status after he arrived from Chelsea for £35 million (€40m) in August as Madrid’s main summer investment.

Arriving after an impressive World Cup campaign with Belgium that saw him keep three clean sheets as his country finished third, Courtois was supposed to succeed Keylor Navas.

Real Madrid had tried unsuccessfully for three years to replace the Costa Rican goalkeeper, coming closest with a swap move for Manchester United’s David de Gea which broke down on transfer deadline day in September 2015.

Courtois did not join Madrid to sit on the bench, but his start to life at the Santiago Bernabeu has seen more downs than ups. After a mistake against Alaves that cost Madrid a point last Saturday, he has faced criticism.

Courtois said to be deeply concerned by reports that Real Madrid will appoint either Jose Mourinho or Antonio Conte: "I left Chelsea to not have to go through something like that again."

Wanker

I just don’t get what you’re bothered about. He didn’t want to be here. He left. Suits him, suits us. We have a fine alternative, or may I say two because I really rate Marcin.

Now Thibaut goes public about not wanting to work with a pair of managers that a majority of posters here hate judging by their comments. So what? What on Earth is the problem?

Whenever Thibaut returns to The Bridge, I will applaud him. Whenever Antonio returns to The Bridge, I will applaud him even louder. I did not applaud Jose last weekend but only because I was not there. (Recovering from a major op.) I’ll be up on my feet for The Special One next time, applauding loudest of all.
