One of the biggest teams from Argentina, River Plate could be relegated from the top division. They managed to lose 2-1 at home to Lanús.

I'm actually really surprised by this. I've always seen River Plate as one of the strongest clubs in South America! Anyone know more on this?

In France Monaco

In England West Ham

Without Boca - River the Argentina Primera Division never will be the same.Hope they keep their place in the top division.

Nah, West Ham were always going to be relegated. I was more surprised by Birmingham on reflection tbh!

They lost the first game 0-2.

Now they must win for at least 2 goal difference to avoid relegation, the match is at River's home, but the match is likely to be played at an empty stadium due to vandalism.

Argentineans are really violent, worst than hooligans. If River is relegated they will invade the pitch to fight the players, or will destroy the stadium.
