Are you for real? This midfield by the names and their skillset should be beating CP right, left and center even when all the players are on their off day. Yes, in this exact formation.

If we win all our remaining matches we're finishing over Pool . Yes, I'd prefer if we go to Anfield not in "win or die" position, but maybe that'll be the motivation the team needs. Also there is still Pool-City game in which someone is losing points (preferably both).

I never thought Tottenham would be much help anyway, I'd rather put my hopes on West Ham and City. Anyway, we win 6 remaining matches and it doesn't matter what Liverpool does. We lose more points - and it doesn't matter either. So - carefree.

The only thing this means is that if we are to win a league this season we'll have to do it at Anfield. And that in itself would be satisfying.

You seriously think Ba would have done better? Two other striker options - Torres and Schurrle - were playing... Oh wait. Ba too was playing. Though maybe playing with no striker at all is preferable to having Torres on the pitch. And I'm serious here.

Sorry, there are things Mourinho should be blamed for, but this one is ridiculous. I would have gotten that logic if we lost to any of the big teams showing resignation, some sort of Arsenal match reversed. But we played Chrystal Palace, for God's sake. And these games are not confidence, these games are about doing your job. And there was a number of players who failed to perform. End of. It's easy to qualify everything Mourinho says as mind games or trolling, the problem is - most time he is simply telling it as it is. This team, with this sort of attitude and severe lack of players for at least 2 key positions and with no strikers at all is not winning anything this season without a big slice of luck. But is still in with the chance.

Actually not so, we still need City to fuck up in 2 matches including games with Pool and Everton. Get our sh*t together, don't allow another repeat, do the best in remaining 6 matches and it's game on. Even if we go behind Pool tomorrow we still have a game to play with them and also their game with City in which a draw would be a dream result. Don't f*ck up any more and it's still on. And before someone starts arguing - I'm not saying that we deserve title this season or have a team to win it. I'm just saying that 5 (4 in fact, but ending on level points means we lose - so 5) points behind with 6/7/8 games to play respectively is not the end of the title race.

Well, I'm actually about to cry. Because we had a chance to get the title, because watching the rest of the PL would be unbearable, because the press is going to have a go on us till I don't know when and because there are no titles this season. And because we are still stuck with Torres.

He played behind striker in City match and it was probably his worst match for them (though I've maybe watched 5 or so matches with him playing for MU so I don't pretend it's accurate). More like he needs quick players to cover for him and create spaces, IMHO.

Watching Porto in last matches goes to show what getting rid of the wrong manager does to the team.
