  1. It's already on in full swing - "Mourinho destroyed Madrid, Ancelotti saved it" it's the story of the day. Pep got lucky, looks like, because nobody is talking about his team's performance. All this just annoys me to no end. Here's a good article http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2616249/MARTIN-SAMUEL-Its-easy-defend-Jose-Mourinho-The-Chelsea-boss-not-dull-hes-BRILLIANT.html?ITO=1490&ns_mchannel=rss&ns_campaign=1490&utm_source=twitterfeed&utm_medium=twitter The part about transition made me wonder again - what is it about our club that makes everyone jump on every little thing that goes wrong?
  2. And God, "Ancelotti is the best coach ever" and "Real got its revenge against Mourinho who destroyed the team" has already started... I hoped Bayern will win just to avoid this. No such luck
  3. Bayern-Barcelona last year came close. But in terms of one team looking absolutely clueless... Probably the most onesided ever.
  4. I will say a cruel thing now, maybe. But there is something deeply symbolic about the coincidence - yesterday there was a memorial service for Tito (God rest his soul) who helped Pep create tiki-taka and today it looks like tiki-taka itself is laid to rest. Not a system as it is, probably, but a myth about it being unbeatable and a future of football. Maybe it just doesn't work unless you have players Pep had in Barca - in their prime, too. Or maybe Pep is overrated as a coach. But this pathetic displey by Bayern (and not just in this match but in many recent matches) is sure to open some eyes. Would not be surprised to see Bayern praised for great attacking football though. After all, they had posession.
  5. It's absolutely shocking to see what Guardiola did to Bayern. He took the best team in the world which seemed destinied to dominate and made... this. I actually am sorry for their players, they look so clueles out there. Not a bit sorry for Pep. I would love to hear his excuses post-match. I would just LOVE it. Whoever gets to the final against them will have it tough, but will have a chance as one any given day anyone can beat anyone. But God, how I want us to go to Lisbon and spoil their party.
  6. That's it - we need to win tomorrow. 1-1 and we're out, and I'm afraid. Very afraid. I believe in our team, but still, those matches are scary.
  7. I can't help but think that it'll be Real Madrid and we'll come and spoil another party right as they get ready to celebrate their 10th CL. But would prefer Bayern.
  8. I hope we're not riskikg Cech/playing him injured. Just not worth it. If he's fit it will be a boost, but I think he'd be on the bench just in case anything happens to Schwarzer.
  9. (OT but Alves' reaction was absolutely epic, massive props to him)
  10. The guy who replied "hey, you're not in Madrid!" gets journo of the day award I only hope our bus has enough firepower left for Wednesday as we have to win that match.
  11. Just read Rodgers' comments. WTF, is the guy bitter or just clueless? If it's not hard to teach yur players to defend, why do you fail so badly at it, Brendan?
  12. Oh my.... I will end up having a heart attack someday. That is how you park the bus! Loved how Willian just walked with the ball into the net. Loved Jose's celebration, pointing to our crest. Loved that we have an amazing keeper. Loved that every - EVERY - player rose to the occasion and did everything they had to do. Loved the score And most of all - still loving the thought that it's very possible that Gerrard with his own hands (or feet) probably just gave the title away. Go us! (and, as much as it pains me to say it, go City in case we won't be able to catch up) Chelsea FC - Party poppers 80 lvl Jose Mourinho - bus parker 80th lvl I'm off to read pool fans on twitter. Before the game they were hating Mourinho for putting out a weak squad and spoiling the party. Wonder for what reason they are hating him now
  13. Anyone still going to argue that referees want Liverpool to win it? God's sake! Blatant handball - no penalty. Blatant handball again - no card. 3 minutes added time turn into 6. WTF, really?! I love you, Demba Ba. I almost love you, Steven Gerard (just kidding, but that was a Tottenham defense - level assist). I love you, Jose Mourinho. I hope Kalas has another 45 minutes like that in him. I hope we park the bus, the plane, the hotel and some little horses in the second half. I just hope. *going back to lurking mode till the end of the match*
  14. But then the same was said when Mourinho started Varane against Messi, and it worked out. So wait and see.
  15. Actually not a bad team, except for Kalas who is thrown into the deep end... But it may be the chance of his life.
  16. Just seen on twitter that they are phoning the hotel and asking receptionists if they can talk with Mourinho. I pity those who are working at the reception and have to deal with this b*llsh*t.
  17. Ha. Barcelona fans did it for Inter in 2010 CL semifinal. Didn't help them any
  18. It's.. Lamentable? Sad? Disgusting? I'm lost for word... Here go journalists, using Vilanova's death to take a dig at Mourinho.
  19. Was this journo Spanish? Someone from Spanish press invented yesterday evening a story that Vilanova is dead, a lot of people were shocked especially after finding out that it's not true. I can understand inventing news and stories to sell papers and get money, but for God's sake, there is a limit to everyting! The question was disgusting, clearly fishing for sensational in a situation where Mourinho will look bad in case he didn't answer and in case he answered doesn't matter what he said. But they will have something to report now. Some people are really shameless.
  20. Just like no way we were losing to Sunderland, right?
  21. We still can finish 5th by the way.
  22. Am not believing any nonsense from press such as "mirrir" untill I see the starting lineup. But we really shouldn't forget we have a chance of finishing outside of the top4.
  23. Would be logical, as 3 months may well turn into 4 or 5 as the time goes. I doubt we'd risk it. Bad luck for us, bad luck for Atletico, this injury.
  24. It's just a scary thought - we're still not safe from finishing 4th or even 5th. We need points from these reast 3 games, because we lose to Liverpool - and we are what, 3 points above Everton and 2 above Arse? Now I'm really afraid Reading on twitter that Cech requires a surgery and is out for 3 months at best and Terry may be able to play on Wednesday. Not sure how reliable though.
