United's defence is shit, hence De Gea is forced to a lot more saves than Courtois. De Gea has to deal with at least five or six difficult situations in every game, while Courtois will barely be forced to two or three saves. I think it's fair to say that they are both great keepers. Maybe De Gea has better reflexes and is more spectacular, while Courtois is more imposing, he is commanding the area like no one else.

Didn't he say his dream is playing for Arsenal one day? And he's been linked to a move to the Emirates for some weeks now. Still, I'd have him here, but I don't know if he is willing to choose a bench role at Chelsea over a starting one at Arsenal. He'd definitely be an upgrade to Mikel and he has played that DM role before at Toulouse. Actually Pardew was the one that moved him further up the pitch.

Tell this to Mourinho then, it must be a reason why Salah can't even make the bench. Salah is more of a Downing type of player and in this case I'd rather have Willian or Schurrle on the right wing. No disrespect to Salah, dude is ok, wish him all the best, but he is no Chelsea material. Him on the pitch today would not have made any difference to be honest. Robben, Bale, they are explosive players, they kill you with pace and they can always bail you out with a long range shot. Remember Salah's long range effort at Shrewsbury? I think it hit some dude waiting for the bus here in Bucharest... I get that he's had little to no time this season, but those five or six games he's had, you have to take your chances. So far he hasn't showed he could have been the man to infulence a game like this one today.
