  1. Also forgot to add - who would he join, though??? Is there a new franchise in the making? Los Angeles Slippers maybe?? Toronto Bottlers???
  2. The 2nd one was a penalty, but the 1st one ... What a joke, it hit that guy's face all day long
  3. Take the positives guys. Everybody is celebrating Spurs' win like they've won the Spanish Christmas Lottery. That's how big of a club Chelsea have become. City pay the highest wages in sport, still they have to wait for Chelsea to slip to be back in the title race. Also had to wait until the last game to go through from a group composed of Roma and CSKA...
  4. Alexis was the answer for the right wing. Gutted Jose didn't go for him. £32m is peanuts for a player of his calibre...
  5. That was shocking, but there is no need to push the panic buton. Shit happens. Still top of the league and a long way to go. Time to regroup and move on. Hazard is fabulous. Gif of that shimmy from Matic?? A cigarette will come in handy right now. Onwards and upwards!
  6. Rose, Walker, Bentaleb, Mason, Chadli, Townsend. A draw is not an option when you play against such players. Feeling confident and I think Chelsea will batter them.
  7. I really don't know what is wrong with Lampard... first he says he is grateful to Jose for transforming him into the player he is now and how Jose made him believe he is a better player that he thought he was (in 2004) and know he wants to revenge on him for supposedly not being offered a new contract. When he actually was offered one... I wonder what is an extra 1 or 2 million for an already millionaire footballer???? Still a Chelsea legend no matter what, but one thing I know is that Terry would never do such thing to us, the fans...
  8. I can see him being a regular for Boro next season, should they win the promotion.
  9. United's defence is shit, hence De Gea is forced to a lot more saves than Courtois. De Gea has to deal with at least five or six difficult situations in every game, while Courtois will barely be forced to two or three saves. I think it's fair to say that they are both great keepers. Maybe De Gea has better reflexes and is more spectacular, while Courtois is more imposing, he is commanding the area like no one else.
  10. Carragher's reaction at hearing Collocini is set for the Newcastle job hahah https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KhWFr6PeK2g
  11. Didn't he say his dream is playing for Arsenal one day? And he's been linked to a move to the Emirates for some weeks now. Still, I'd have him here, but I don't know if he is willing to choose a bench role at Chelsea over a starting one at Arsenal. He'd definitely be an upgrade to Mikel and he has played that DM role before at Toulouse. Actually Pardew was the one that moved him further up the pitch.
  12. Tell this to Mourinho then, it must be a reason why Salah can't even make the bench. And that is not because he is a bit introverted or fasting on Ramadan, he is simply not good enough for this level I think. And don't get me wrong, I would be glad for him to be given opportunities and why not consolidate his place in the first team line-up, but for now I just can't see it coming.
  13. Salah is more of a Downing type of player and in this case I'd rather have Willian or Schurrle on the right wing. No disrespect to Salah, dude is ok, wish him all the best, but he is no Chelsea material. Him on the pitch today would not have made any difference to be honest. Robben, Bale, they are explosive players, they kill you with pace and they can always bail you out with a long range shot. Remember Salah's long range effort at Shrewsbury? I think it hit some dude waiting for the bus here in Bucharest... I get that he's had little to no time this season, but those five or six games he's had, you have to take your chances. So far he hasn't showed he could have been the man to infulence a game like this one today.
  14. Felt like shit after the game, but at least Burnley saved the day. Hazard and Cesc were class, but it's dissapointing to see that Chelsea could not exploit that right wing more. Targett is inexperienced and should have been the key to this match. A more direct player would have tore him apart. Man this team screams for a Robben/Bale type of player. No time to cry though. WHL in a few days and that game is a must win. Pretty sure Sunderland won't bail us out again, like Burnley did today.
  15. Diego Eden Cesc Oscar Matic Mikel Azpilicueta JT Cahill Ivanovic Courtois
  16. So they bought Cerci for £12m just to swap him back with Torres six months later??? They could have saved that money by simply asking Chelsea to involve Torres in the Diego Costa deal. What a dumb move. And a waste of £12m.
  17. At least we now know he ain't going nowhere
  18. There is nothing wrong in hoping a team playing w/o Zabaleta, Kompany, Fernandinho, Aguero, Dzeko and Jovetic would slip away from home. And the frustration grows when you see Foster and Lescott serving them two goals on a silver platter. Eventually, this is the essence of football - no one can be 38-0-0 in May, you need others to slip in order to win the title. If we are crybabies, I wonder you didn't you put your morgage at stake, City was 5/8 today
  19. No way they'll be losing points in the next few games, Southampton and Spurs are must wins.
  20. They'd still win it with Silva on goal and Boyata leading the line
