Can someone explain me how come Routledge can get his ban rescinded for a similar incident, while Matic can't?? What am I missing?? Are they taking us for fools??? 2+2 for other clubs equals 4, but when it comes to Chelsea, 2+2 equals 5. FA are a joke. Barnes also getting away with it. If it was for Diego Costa, he would have probably been deported back to Spain, with English media calling for him to be banned for life. Disgusting. I think I'm going to throw up.
-
Frankly I wouldn't want you to get banned so that you can come back here after the 2nd leg and see us celebrating going to the quarter finals. What is like now? 4 years since the Arabs started pumping money into your club and you didn't even get a sniff at the semifinals?? Hahah It has got to be such a fabulous feeling to win the mighty Ligue One against the likes of Lyon and Marsiglia, teams with a smiliar budget to West Ham
-
Who are they??? I didn't hear Madrid, Barcelona and Bayern singing this to be fair. Others, such as United, Arsenal, Liverpool are irrelevant. United have invested almost 200m and they're playing worse than Chelsea U18s. And then comes the usual suspects, the moral winners of every competition, Arsenal and Liverpool, the deluded teams with clueless managers/tactics that play fancy football and never win a thing. What about Liverpool last season?? What about their all out attack tactics?? The stick Mourinho would get for blowing that lead... man, this whole forum would go into complete meltdown. What you want is a team to entertain you the way Liverpool did last season and defend the "Jose way". That's basically the perfect football team and I'm afraid it does not exist. And no, it is not called a balanced team. You can't score over 100 goals and allow only 20 with a balanced team. Not even Celtic could do it in SPL, nevermind EPL. You guys talk about opposition fans, but half of United's fanbase would donate their left bollock to have Jose at Old Trafford. This thread is quieter than a desert after a Chelsea win, but a mess after every other result. Even after a draw with an away goal that puts you in the driving seat, all you do is moan, moan, moan and fucking moan.

Another brain fart from Ramires. He is so lucky to have escaped with it, ref had a clear view on it. Penalty all day long. Sums up that ref's night though. Poor referee. No red card for Verrati, no penalty for Pastore and he kept that yellow card in his pocket like it was made from gold.
-
Why would he be worried when Chelsea tops EPL, can win the first trophy of the season in less than two weeks and is now favourites to reach the quarter finals in Champions League and be four games closer to the Final???
-
He will get out of that shit hole in the summer. Playing for richest club in the country and can't even be ahead of Marsiglia and Lyon, teams with a similar budget to West Ham and Swansea.
-
I'm sure he will be so proud to win the Mickey Mouse league in France once again. Poor chap should be moving abroad if he wants to have at least a shot at Champions League semifinals. How many trophies do you have outside France??????
-
Was going to say the same thing as Muzchap - Jose is going the safe way this season. Another trophyless season and Roman could get mad. Maybe next season, after winning the league and the Capital One, plus a long journey in Champions League, he'll be more relaxed and will reshape the defence. Or at least get them a bit higher on the pitch.
-
Thank God none of you fickle fans is in charge of this club. By your logic, City should win the quadruple every year because they play fancy football. Oh wait, they can't even make it to the quarter finals in Champions League with their attacking minded setup. Get a grip, you're embarassing yourselves.
-
They did this because they play a high line. What people don't (want to) understand is that it is impossible to control a game with only 6 players (3 midfielders, 2 wingers and the center forward) and no overlap from your full backs. Chelsea can't play a high line with Terry, Cahill and Ivanovic. Jose might be a defensive minded coach, but not a suicidal one.
-
Just a reminder for those moaning about negative tactics - the attacking minded team that mighty Bayern Munchen is has only had one shot on goal playing against Shakhtar on a neutral venue. I'll take this. Rather win trophies this way than bottle things at the end a la Liverpool. Courtois MOTM.
-
Solid team. Now let's score one or two goals :blue scalf:
-
I know Lucas Moura, Cabaye and Aurier are out for sure. But what about Thiago Motta and Marquinhos??? As for the others, I think Matuidi and Pastore are match fit and ready to play. What is your predicted line-up? I still think that Marquinhos will make it in the end and play at right back. Paris medical staff will do everything in their power to have him fit mainly because van der Wiel can not be trusted to be fair. Such a poor player, Hazard would make a fool out of him and Paris knows this.
-
Cesc match fit Diego Costa Hazard Cesc Willian Matic Ramires Azpilicueta JT Cahill Ivanovic Courtois Cesc out Diego Costa Hazard Willian Cuadrado Matic Ramires Azpilicueta JT Cahill Ivanovic Courtois I can see Oscar in the starting line-up only if both Cesc and Willian would miss. And that won't happen for sure. Jose pretty much confirmed [through his selections] that he does not trust Oscar for a big match away from home. I'm guessing this will not change tonight.

Matic so far, no doubt about it.

My God, Falcao makes Lukaku look like the ultimate baller. First touch as heavy as a truck...... second touch basically a tackle most of the times
-
A "problem" in the way that he can't do it because of the quality in front of him, not that he is not capable of doing it. His commanding of area when in Atletico was immaculate.
-
Daily Mail's latest article on Jose and his staff... Embarassing. This is not sports journalism anymore. You would think Jose and his staff represent a threat to national security the way those wankers at Daily Mail write these days. Vile human beings.

Yeah, I agree they will be up for it, no doubt about it, but at the same time the lack of strong opponents in that poor league can turn against them to be fair. They've been poor all season, there is no way they go Barcelona 2010/11 level all of a sudden. Chelsea might not be te ultimate football team, but this is a tie that Jose has to win. There are other teams that Chelsea should be afraid of, such as Bayern, Madrid, Barcelona, Atletico. Not Paris. I might sound a bit cocky, but Paris is nothing special. And their best player's record in Champions League knock-out phase speaks volumes - 7 goals in his entire career. Ibrahimovic is a great player for Serie A and Ligue 1, but a fraud in Champions League. Especially against English teams (3 goals in 16 matches vs English opposition or something similar to this). I'm not arrogant, just confident that Chelsea can knock out a team that consists of players such as David Luiz (clown), Maxwell, Sirigu, Motta, Lucas Moura (headless chicken). If you are afraid of such team then you don't deserve to be challenging for big trophies. What about when Bayern gonna be knocking at the door?? Declare forfait just because they pass the shit out of every opponent? No team is better than you and that should be the mentality.

Yep, that's why I said I kinda like the idea of Azpi and Filipe against Tottenham. I was reffering to that game. Although Brana is one of those big match players.
-
Made at least three good runs behind the defenders in the 2nd half but no one picked them out. No worries though, Cesc will solve this thing. Overall a good performance. The three behind Diego must be Hazard, Willian and Cuadrado from now on.
