  1. I'm worried about his lack of motivation when playing the lesser teams to be fair. He's always playing at his best against the big sides, but takes his foot off the pedal against the smaller teams. Think there is no pride in macking a mockery out of Arsenal's defence like he did two weeks ago if you are just a passenger against Burnley and Wolves. Needs to understand that if he is to step to the next level he must play a whole lot better against the lesser teams. Cristiano Ronaldo is the player he is now by constantly destroying the tin pot teams, especially in Champions League. He might go missing in the latter stages of the competitions, but at least he makes fun of all them Swedish and Polish amateurs and his goalscoring record stays put.
  2. He's no central midfielder guys, would probably come here to add more depth and play as a winger. Barcelona does not suit him, but with Simeone he was at his best playing on the wing. Very good player IMHO.
  3. Much better second half, got the result in the end. Nathan Ake MOTM.
  4. Asmir BEGOVIC; Cesar AZPILICUETA, Kurt ZOUMA, Gary CAHILL; Victor MOSES, Cesc FABREGAS, N'Golo KANTE, Nathan AKE; Eden HAZARD, Diego COSTA, Pedro RODRIGUEZ.
  5. Right thing to do IMHO. He's worth every penny. Might not be the most technically skilled centre forward, but I feel he's perfect for Chelsea's setup. Loved by the fans and brings much more to the game, not only goals. The way I see the football game, I think Diego Costa is one of world's finest centre forwards when coming to working the channels. In today's game of football every top teams needs this type of centre forward, a la Diego Costa, Luis Suarez, Robert Lewandowski, Edinson Cavani, to do it all, work the channels, come deep to pick the balls, help the defence, not only to act as a poacher, score goals and rely entirely on his team's performance. I think the modern centre forward is capable of scoring goals out of nothing even when the team is not at full capacity and Boro away and WBA at home come first in my mind. Would be a hard task to do to replace Diego Costa and this news is music to my ears.
  6. This hypocrite could finish 6th and still say they somehow deserve to be in top 4 because of the football they play and all the draws that should have been turned into wins because "they deserved to win". Probably the most expensive squad ever assembled and they're stuck on 6th place since fucking September. Conte must be clever here and must not let himself get caught into this mess. Mourinho is a sick bastard, he lives for this drama show. Fucking maniac.
  7. Btw - United win, lose or draw, they're still 6th hahahahahah
  8. What a way to throw a three goal lead....... Hats off to Tammy though, his 17th and 18th of the season
  9. Diego Costa's perfect replacement (should he leave) and Drogba's natural successor.
  10. Didn't he say he's going back to Independiente in Argentina once he leaves City?
  11. Spurs and Arsenal are useless in UCL, City are irrelevant as a club. But Liverpool and United missing on Champions League football for another season. My oh my, it would be brilliant. Liverpool's next six fixtures - Spurs, Leicester, Arsenal, Burnley, City, Everton
  12. His head needs to be checked if he puts pen to paper to a new contract and stays with Arsenal the perennial losers past this season. Conte must work his magic and bring him here, no way Arsenal will hold for a mamoth fee if Alexis hands in a transfer request. Oscar money should do the job.
  13. Gutted for missing this, was at work this afternoon... Kept refreshing livescore every 10 minutes. Watched the extended highlights now - Eden Hazard take a bow, what a goal. Thibo with a stellar performance, too. Liverpool HAHAHA !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  14. Will leave in the summer for China. £73m for Chelsea, £26m per year the salary. Does not want to play in EPL past the end of the season. Cadena Ser one of the most reputable outlets in Spain. http://cadenaser.com/programa/2017/02/03/el_larguero/1486116610_999186.html
  15. Fuck it feels like a defeat. At least the North London bottlers did not take advantage of this game and we actually increased our lead at the top by one point. Kante motm by a country mile.
  16. According to the bib theory this is the team for today - Thibo - Azpi Luiz Cahill - Moses Kante Matic Alonso - Hazard Diego Costa Pedro.
  17. Reading the match day thread at RAWK you'd think they're playing Alfreton Town next and not the league leaders. One deluded scouser thinks it would be no surprise if they are 3-0 up at the 40th minute mark.
  18. At least now I have something to cheer for in the Final. Saints fully deserved to go to Wembley, frankly they should have put at least six past Liverpool in this leg. Liverpool come across as a very arrogant side these days just because they think they are some sort of big team playing this all out attack clueless tactics. Klopp also a one dimensional manager in my view and his antics on the sidelines are cringeworthy at times, acting like a spoilt brat, arrogantly laughing at ref's decisions like everything should go Liverpool's way everytime. A hypocrite spouting shit lately only to be made a fool afterwards. "Oh, United are a long ball team" then few days later resorts to playing Matip as a centre forward in the dying minutes against rock bottom Swansea at home. "Must be frustrating to win 13 in a row and still be only 6 points ahead" only to drop even further at 10 points behind. They are a mess in defence and one of the worst teams I've seen defenind counterattacks. Sunderland took advantage of it, Swansea did too, Southampton made a mockery of their defence two times in the space of one week. Think Conte will give them plenty of the ball and hit them on the counter. Hazard, Diego Costa and Pedro have superb pace, Alonso and Moses could help them on the wings too. We just need to find the right man to spray the balls left and right. Think Fabregas is the perfect man to do it. It worked against and aggresive City side at the Etihad, could work against imho.
  19. Perfect scenario next summer would be - Chelsea to win the title - Arsenal to miss the top 4 - Chelsea to sign Arturo Vidal. - Alexis Sanchez to get frustrated at being at a tin pot club and join his Chileno brother Vidal at Chelsea. We'd get to win the title this way, make fun of Arsenal for missing on top 4 and bring two super footballers at the club. One can dream haha.
  20. Mirror jumped the gun a bit as always. Hang in there Ryan Mason. Hoping for a speedy full recovery.
