  1. Hope so mate hope the Spanish pundits are full of shite on this one.
  2. I speak Spanish. Quotes are ambiguous, this is why I searched for something more reliable, such as a video. Found this: So, the journalist asks him: "Let me put it this way - do you like to change (teams) all the time, or you're more of a "stable" player, that likes to stay at the same team, even though that team can't stay at the top (of the table), for example Arsenal?" Alexis responds: "I like to stay in a city and in a team, but a team that is a winner (ganador = winner), that has a winning mentality to win titles, it's what everybody asks me for, right?". And the crowd responds to him: "Yeees, yees". I think the last part of this video might provide a hint where he says "It's what everybody asks me for, right? (To play in a winners team)" because lately in Chile there's been a lot of pressure from both fans and media for him to leave Arsenal and join a bigger club. And he seems to be aware of this judging by this video and his last words in it.
  3. So today during the replay of last night's France v Spain on Telecinco (Spain) the commentators said that Moussa Sissoko to Chelsea is a deal done for an amount in the region of 12 to 18m. Pre agreement already signed, transfer going through when the window opens.
  4. "Chelsea won't sell Hazard at any price. From what I've heard, they're planning a summer bigger than 2004." "He (Roman) wants Chelsea to be up there. He wants Chelsea to be a force in Europe. He wants nothing more than to win the CL again." Apparently this is Ruud Gullit speaking to Fox Sports Netherlands during a morning show today.
  5. Last summer when Diego Costa was rumoured to leave I said Conte is not mad to sell one of his best players ahead of such an important (1st) season (in England) when he clearly wanted to make a good first impression and fight for the title. I say the same again regarding Hazard - Conte will no doubt try to win the Champions League at his very first try with Chelsea. He's obsessed with this competition, he'll do everything to keep his best players and on top of that add extra quality. Now after a summer I have my question marks whether Diego Costa stays or goes, but Courtois, Hazard - no chance they leave. Not this summer.
  6. He's had enough of Arsenal and is definitely bound to leave come this summer. I say turn his head now and summer business will only be a formality. Arsenal would have no other choice but to accept a bid from Chelsea should Sanchez reject all other clubs interested.
  7. If it's true the club has agreed terms with him I for one think that 90% of the business is done. This is usually what Bayern does - tap players first then close the deal with the very first bid. Hard for clubs to keep hold on of their players once they've been unsettled. Not the fairest of things to do, but it happens in the modern days. Hope the same goes for Alexis Sanchez too. Heard Arsenal are ready to sell him and Ozil (rumour coming from a solid source - The Times), but would prefer to a foreign club. Maybe if Chelsea could unsettle him too, Arsenal would have no choice other than to sell him to his prefered destination.
  8. Hard to explain in writing. It's basically Tie-moo. The "e" at the end is mute.
  9. 11 point gap at the 70th minute mark 1-1, bet Mourinho would have been happy with a point away from home and we'd have played a dull game until the end. Conte took a defender off, changed tactics, kept pushing at all costs and it payed off. Such a change in mentality, totally transforming the club from top to bottom and we're not even the finished article yet. No more drama, controversy, silly mind games, negative tactics, no more bad press. He's given this club a new identity and although Chelsea is hated from right to left, I bet there's a lot of neutrals saying "wow they really ditched negative tactics, they really are a fun team to watch." Give the man a new contract and let him decide on transfers. Club's going into the right direction. Amazing time to be a Chelsea fan.
  10. Brilliant result, the blue army goes rolling along!!!!!!!!!! Loving Antonio Conte more and more with each day. Get innnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  11. Kante in the stands he's fucking everywhere the wee man
  12. What does he expect? He's been worshiped during his time at Chelsea then goes to one of Chelsea's biggest rivals and from the very first interview he licks their asses talking about a mystical feel surrounding United and how great their fanbase is and how he feels there is some sort of unrivaled chemistry between him and the United fans. All this after years of constantly being hated by the mancs and given the dog's abuse everytime when going to Old Trafford. Fickle sad old man took digs at Conte and Chelsea all season long. He's stuck at 6th since September, won only 13 games this season compared to Chelsea's 21, scored almost 20 goals less, but this can't stop him from constantly talk shite about our club. Keeps bragging about European football like he's had to play every week against Barcelona and Bayern. When all they did was to play against second hand opponents, some amateurs from Ukraine and a mid table French club. He can't stand the fact Conte's taking the plaudits in his first season in England while he can't get a sniff at top 4 since the start of the season. I'd boo him too if I'd be in the stands regardless of what he did for this club. He's become an excuse of a human being tarnishing his Chelsea reputation with his every interview.
  13. Brainless thug Ander Herrera can't fucking stand the sight of him always moaning and acting like a spoilt brat on the pitch. Sending off serves him well the bastard. He's the impersonation of Mourinho on the pitch what a better way to beat this fucker than through a lot of controversy? Came up with a vile gameplan tonight lots of fouls and negative football glad we kicked the poor bastard out and Conte made him look miserable.
  14. The self entitled special one replicating Conte's 3-4-3 After all the bs he's talked about Chelsea all season long. What a wanker
  15. Watched the last 20 seconds of United v Bournemouth, the first thing I see after the FT whistle is Mourinho raging at the fourth ref. After playing 50 minutes with an extra man against the third worst defence in the league. Now Ibrahimovic says that bloke's thrown his head into his elbow. Hahah
  16. RAWK today - "I think tactics wise, Klopp is up there at the top. If you think of intelligent managers and coaches, he and possibly Pep are the two who are at different levels to others, at least in premier league."
  17. Very, very early to say anything about this. First season with Juventus they did not play any European competition, second season in charge they met Heynckes' Bayern machine (while having Quagriarela and Vucinic as the two forwards) and the third season was unlucky if you ask me. Yes, they did not manage to go out of the group stages, but if you remember the Copenhagen and Galatasaray matches, Juventus was totally unlucky and missed tons and tons of chances. Maybe Conte's fault, too, but not entirely IMHO - it is said that a manager's job is to help his team get as close as possible to the opposing goal, from there on is the players' job to finish the article.
  18. Thibo COURTOIS; Cesar AZPILICUETA, David LUIZ, Gary CAHILL; Victor MOSES, Cesc FABREGAS, N'Golo KANTE, Marcos ALONSO; Eden HAZARD, Diego COSTA, Pedro RODRIGUEZ.
  19. Ranieri is a poor manager, last season was a complete anomaly, but he should have seen this season off. He's earned this right. Total lack of respect from Leicester. If two weeks ago I'd have wanted them to stay safe this season, now I think it's better for them to go down and eat the humble pie. What goes around comes around.
  20. That bloke Glick looks decent too. Watched him at the Euros, solid defender, think he'd be a very good back-up to have next season. He's played in a three man defence as well for Torino.
  21. Think it has to do more with the North American sports influence where there is no cup competitions in ice hockey, baseball, basketball, American rugby et al. Even here in Romania the FA Cup matches are advertised for days. Sutton v Arsenal last night you'd have thought it's the World Cup Final with all the promos and stories in every news edition. The FA Cup truly is a major competition and the prospect of two stellar semi-finals at Wembley makes it even more entertaining. Chelsea (hopefully!), City, Arsenal, Spurs - Champions League like final four. To win the league title and then top it by winning the FA Cup against opposition like this would be absolutely superb.
