  1. I think we ALL wish for him to move to United. Ivan Perisic lol.............
  2. No doubt the Manchester clubs are going to invest massively this summer even though their managers have failed big time. Seeing this I hope the Chelsea board don't go into retard mode and deny Conte his targets. If Guardiola can go into a 200m+ buying spree after a trainwreck of a season I see no reason why Chelsea can't back Conte up too. Improvement is here for everyone to see now it is the perfect moment to finally start trusting a manager who is not clueless and has a perfect view on what the future holds for him and the club.
  3. Congratulations to the glorified Tony Pulis on beating a bunch of 20 year olds while playing beautiful, free flowing attacking football. Loved the celebrations too, definitely a trophy Mourinho craved for and always talked highly about.
  4. There is talks of him today of joining Spalletti at Inter this summer. We'd be mad not to go all in for him if he's really on the move.
  5. My thoughts exactly. It's 6/10 now before the EL Final. It'll probably be a done deal should United win it, no deal should Ajax batter them. I for one would go for him if United fail to win the EL. Especially now with the Alexis Sanchez rumours gathering pace that he's joining Bayern. Griezmann's clearly opened to a change and to be fair I think it'd be a perfect fit for this Conte setup. He's also coming from a similar training and tactics regime.
  6. Lukaku and Alexis is enough. Chelsea still have Tammy Abraham coming back and Batshuayi is our player, does not have to go anywhere. Big squad is needed if Conte wants to fight on all fronts. Hazard, Lukaku, Alexis, Willian, Pedro, Batshuayi, Tammy Abraham for three forward positions is more than ok. Cesc can play there too. Hazard, Lukaku, Alexis for the big matches. Willian, Pedro, Batshuayi/Abraham as the back-up front three for the FA Cup and EFL matches is something lots of teams would like to have as a back-up plan for the lesser competitions.
  7. Oh Mourinho... Yesterday Europa League was a tinpot trophy he didn't even want to hear about. Next thing you know he's throwing a PL campaign away with weeks before it's even finished to concentrate on the Europa League. Ha ha. Knows hell is going to break loose if they fail to win it. Fortunately for him they are meeting a very young and inexperienced Ajax side. Doubt they'll pose a threat, but my God would love the Dutch youngsters to turn them over. Chelsea to win the double, Arsenal playing Europa League next season and Mourinho failing miserably at United. All in one season?! To good to be true.
  8. Will stay at 10 yellow cards now. First part of the season you get a ban at 5 yellow cards, second part of the season when you reach 10.
  9. Championeeee, Championeeeee, ole ole oleeeeeeeeeeeee
  10. Me too would absolutely love a player in the mould of Spurs' Dembele this summer.
  11. When media asked Conte about his subs at the week-end, most of them on Hazard and Diego Costa, Conte specifically told them about Cesc too and praised him. Think he was due this start from Conte's words, but at the same time I guess he wanted to keep his midfield pairing in Matic and Kante for some stability. Hence Cesc for Pedro or Willian was the obvious choice.
  12. Exactly the starting lineup I had in mind. Minus Cahill - thought he's not fit yet.
  13. If "crazy" transfer fee means the money that would cover the Lukaku & Sanchez deals (I assume it must be over 100m) then Chelsea would be crazy not to take it.
  14. Who gives a fuck about Mourinho? He asked for the sacking with his constant favoritism and dog shite tactics. Can't beat the likes of Burnley, Hull and a 10 man Bournemouth at home when others put at least three past them shower, now he is a hero and "got his revenge"? It's a revenge if Chelsea go on and lose the title. If Chelsea do the double and he wins fuck all, Mourinho will look like the idiot he is. Wonder if he fails to win the Europa League with that squad and they go on and miss the top 4 as well, would you think the same? That players worked behind his back? Mourinho got the sack because he is past it. And deluded.
  15. That post match interview though... I thought he was about to erupt when he said he did not understand that question. You could feel how irritated and pissed off he was in that moment. Also it was the first time this season when he partially mentioned something about the referring mistakes but thankfully he didn't go deeper into that. The way stories go about him about taking defeats as a "virtual state of death" I would not bet against Chelsea winning both the title and FA Cup. This loss could be the catalyst of Chelsea's final run of games just like the Arsenal one. Conte looked destroyed and I'm sure there is going to be little to no sleep for him in the coming days. Most importantly he took the blame on him and didn't throw his players under the bus like a certain manager does after every negative result.
  16. Working on Easter day but in time back home to watch the game. Can't wait. Thibo COURTOIS; Cesar AZPILICUETA, David LUIZ, Gary CAHILL; Victor MOSES, Cesc FABREGAS, N'Golo KANTE, Marcos ALONSO; Eden HAZARD, Diego COSTA, Pedro RODRIGUEZ.
  17. Led the line for a team that has won a historic title in Spain and was seconds away from winning the Champions League trophy in the same season. Now on route to a second league title in three years in England while being the main centre forward. Might not be the most complete forward, not even close to that, but this does not come by accident. Similar to Benzema, they bring more than goals to their teams. People would expect a Real Madrid forward to be one that scores an average 25-30 goals per season. Benzema is not. Actually he's only broke the 20 goal barrier twice since his transfer from France in 2009. Still, this is his 8th season leading the line for RM. How many times people have questioned him and his presence in that team based on "not being a goalscoring machine"? Feel it's the same with Diego Costa - not a predator in front of the goal, but undoubtedly a very importante piece in the puzzle.
  18. Thibo COURTOIS; Kurt ZOUMA, David LUIZ, Gary CAHILL; Cesar AZPILICUETA, Cesc FABREGAS, N'Golo KANTE, Marcos ALONSO; Eden HAZARD, Diego COSTA, Pedro RODRIGUEZ.
  19. If Conte can persuade a Milan legend into moving to one of their fiercest rivals and probably Italy's most hated club then five minutes with Sanchez should be just enough for Alexis to make up his mind.
  20. Bet he'd be skinny as a beanpole after a full pre-season with Conte.
  21. Silly posts like this make certain posters annoying as hell. If it's that hard for you to digest a rare loss then switch sports and support GS Warriors - they always win. How the hell was Burnley away a better match when Chelsea barely created anything after the equaliser compared to Palace an electric game full of chances? It just wasn't Chelsea's day, maybe you should learn giving the opposition a bit of respect from now on, they left their hearts on the pitch, defended like warriors.
  22. Unlucky really. Brilliant service from the wide areas, just no one at the end of it. Positioning in front of the goal was piss poor, a poacher would have scored 5 today. Massive game against City now, can't lose that. Spurs are on a roll with an easy run of fixtures coming up. Come on you Chels!
