  1. As I said a few times, the way Brazilians and Englishes see history is different. A historical club for us is a club with big support, who's been standing for a long while, that has big rivalries and we have all that. Of course silverware is also part of the context, but it's much less important for us than it is for them, so maybe that's his reference.
  2. We should have know there was something wrong with him when someone described him as German Messi. Germany ever having a Messi is laughable. They produce some amazing players - but Messi-style isn't theirs. that's when we should have known there was something very wrong with this.
  3. the reason why there's three bottles FIXED in the wall. I suppose a liquid soap, shampoo and conditioner. Sorry for ruining your joke though
  4. That's hilarious, I can't stop laughing... His reaction after he doesn't get a foul is: 'come here now you little bitch' Well, he's a whole package, unfortunately we can't pick only the good things. I do hope José tames him the little bit necessary for him to avoid suspensions. I really have watched little of this guy (never said otherwise) because I'm surprised by his quality and also by his temperament. He seemed just tough, but he's a bit dirty (or full throttle, depending on how you see it).
  5. mystery solved, Hazard talked in pseudo-portuguese with Costa the other day. Still easier than English (except not, but for a native latin-based language maybe yes). And Willian is so damn cute!!!!!!
  6. I don't think the injury is a serious one (although is weird no one ever said a word, except Gigi and some other CTV guy before the first match he missed). From today:
  7. awwww!!!!! so cute answers and so cute to read young people talking about their partners (I'll include myself in the young category, but I mean even younger ) Iseah is very cute (and silly too as showed in the answer above mine - he thinks I'm silly than he goes full silly on your remark). See what I felt, @iseah100? Now you feel the same, you silly I don't think every Englishman likes tea. I'm from a state from Brazil that is traditional about a few things and I hate most of them... I feel like an ET so I won't make the assumption everyone does. Thanks for the picture of your tattoo(s), I'll be waiting for it. There's a way for you to upload things on FB that only you can see and you can still click on the pic, copy the link and post it here so you won't feel a show off. And I meant the sportsman. My favorite English sportsman of all time is Jenson Button. But I won't even pretend to be all mature and serious and say is because he's amazing. He's as hot as they get. And I like the way he drives and I think he's a great character. Absolutely love him. I wonder how your girl got you a shirt hand signed by the whole squad. She's an ace I need to meet that girl, hahahahaha
  8. awww, so cute! Iseah and Dale are now besties that's the cutest thing ever happened in those hot seats - probably the coolest too (although that post by WHS is still epic). Dale 1) To post your pic just link them from somewhere you uploaded them, FB, image storage sites, twitter, etc... Then do the same way you did to upload those others. Why am I teaching you? First so you know and second so I can ask you to post your tattoos pictures, especially the English rose, I'm very curious to see them. The rose is SO beautiful 2) It's amazing that you love England so much, it makes me happy to see young lads like that. What's the thing you love the most about England? What you would change? What you think you have that nobody else does? 3) Best Chelsea moment so far for you? 4) How often do you watch matches in the stadium? 5) Do you have a girlfriend? If don't, what should a girl have to win your heart over? 6) Any man crush? It's cute when guys don't have problems admitting that 7) Other sports you like? Who is your biggest English athlete idol? 8) How do you like your tea and when do you usually have it?
  9. which means Torres isn't the player who's selling more shirts anymore. Lamps made the top 10 but Torres dropped out of it. Good, time to move on (actually time to move on was already last season).
  10. Hazard is stronger, faster, has better work rate and defends better. The comparison is a poor one, even if we build the team around him. Also Mata is 100x more easily dispossessed than Hazard is. So there's no common ground to compare now the funny part *something insanely funny happens during the match* Hazard mentally: 'imagine if we could understand each other' Hazard speaking: 'very funny, I legh hard' Costa mentally: 'we'd have so much fun. Can I say fuck off as an answer to this? It's the only thing I know how to say in English' Costa speaking: 'si, si, yes' Costa mentally: it was good while lasted. I want to say more things, but I don't know how, I'm growing shy, let me cover my mouth. Hazard mentally: He could replace David Luiz's as the joker, I just need to figure out how to understand what he says and make sure to never get in his bad side
  11. Ramires does the most difficult things and struggle with the basic, trivial things - which is why he isn't rated higher by most fans, opposition fans and media. There are people who love Ramires, but I've always felt most people see his shortcomings more than his qualities because just after scoring a goal like that he misplaced a simple, short pass - as he does too many times a match. He's a little Jekyll and Hyde kind of player, so one day we're all praising a goal like today's, but the next we're all moaning about his stupid challenges that get him suspended or his inability to pick a pass. I wish he was way more consistent as a footballer, I'd like him much better. But the goal was beautiful
  12. This man is immense - and it seems easily overlooked at least here on the forum. Last post nine days ago when he's been very good (except for a small streak last friday) all the time. One of our most important players. Very complete, technical player. And remember when we got worried about his stamina and pace? Well, he might be working on something to improve because this run+tackle was brilliant and surgical. x
  13. I'd love to see his face at this exact moment, but his composure seem to be so relaxed, with his hands on his hips while the other guy is going nuts.\ It's almost like he's 'did u say something? U mad at me?'
  14. When did he become a set piece wonder? I remember he was very on and off on corners last season and I don't particularly remember he ever taking a FK for us. Now all of sudden, World Cup winner, André Schurrle, not only can score, get the most amazing runs, but is a boss in all kind of set-piece. He's progressing fast and the fact that not only he's a WC winner, but was influential in the trophy will continue to do wonders to him and he might end up the season being one of our best players. I can foresee double digit goals as well as assists (especially because of the set-pieces). Invaluable player that I love since he was announced and gave the first interview to CTV - which makes me all much happier about his fast progress. I want him to be a Chelsea legend so much it hurts, and I think he may be on his way. Too early to say, but the lad has the right attitude, commitment and passion for this club in addition to his quality as a footballer. His ceiling might be much higher than I first expected. Hopefully it is.
  15. somehow earlier this week there were people questioning it and even suggesting players we should STILL sign to play central midfield... After I got over we were signing an ex-Arse, I made him my fave player, during the first week of the WC - while he didn't even play for Spain (as del Bosque is clueless) and before one second of Chelsea football. It's easy for me to worship him now because I believed this would be the signing of the summer the moment it happened and I've stated it a few times ever since. Diego Costa is very important but no amount of world class strikers can solve all of our problems if they don't get quality balls passed to them and we now have someone that excels in that. I hope his attitude and his quality fire up our AMs and lead them to produce better than they did last season, instead of adding only Cesc's quality to our transition and attack setup. This guy is immense and he's indeed my fave player in the squad. I love everything about him - except the haircut.
  16. He was very poor today from the moment he got in. Everything he did went wrong, was easily tackled, lost possession, didn't create anything. It was really disappointing. In his defense, he was back on training on Monday and has got around only 5-6 training sessions after vacation (if even that much) and he played nearly 90 minutes Friday and today. I think Mourinho's plan wasn't to use him as much, and bring him around the same time be brought Hazard to the match, but in that case why don't play Hazard for Drogba when he has one more week of training and is in better condition. One good match, one poor match. He's keeping the trend and I don't like it, hopefully he's just out of shape. Willian was really poor Friday, but today already improved significantly (compared to how bad he was). Hopefully Oscar will improve as well.
  17. Mourinho counted how many Ferencvaros players are still looking for Fàbregas: five x
  18. and then we bring some of our key players to the pitch, we start dominate the match and the usual moaner suspects just disappear from the thread... not one post by them in the last few pages. So predictable.
  19. any other stream other than http://footballhd.me/chelsea.html it's stopping literally every 2 seconds for about 10 seconds.
  20. Ramires can score some amazing goals from time to time, can't he?
  21. only if thekid9 plays as a striker alongside Torres in a 4-4-2
  22. Pre-season is boring at this point, but pre-season moaning is much worse, is annoying. José is making tests, resting his key players for the match on Tuesday - let's not forget we played TWO days ago. we don't want muscle injuries because of overload. And have you noticed that there are some tough challenges in those friendlies? The players aren't skinning anyone here because they're afraid of being injured - within reason. I'll take the game against Sociedad more seriously because I expect it to be a luxury training sessions for the the debut against Burnley. But even then I won't trash the guys if they're a little bit cautious and don't show too much effort. You definitely don't want to get injured a week from the start of the season. And seriously, when did Schurrle become set piece specialist? He's been on par with Cesc in those corners and like the commentator, I thought that FK was a goal... either way it was a very good FK. What confidence can do!
  23. Actually we're missing ALL of our key players. It's not simply a second team, it's a team without any of the key players... No JT in defense, no Cesc or Matic in the pivot, no Hazard, Oscar (until some minutes ago) in the AM and mainly, no Diego Costa in the front. So our spine isn't in the pitch and people are moaning we should be beating an unknown Hungary side just because they're that, an unknown Hungarian side? We should look clueless - and we sort of do (have been watching since 20'), I don't know what the concerns could possibly be... This team has some of our worst players, no chemistry and looks disjointed because many of them never played with each other before... give it a break.
