The problem is to break opponent's defense whn they decide to park the bus ( or aeroplane) . We really need a player with plenty of skills. Pace does not matter if you have the ability to create chance out of nothing. Hamsik and Dzagoev are very good player but if you talk about individual skill then Pastore would be right choice. After 38 matches whoever gets maximum points is deserved to be champion. Luck factor really doesn't matter. Beside that we scored 103 goals, played incredible football, 4th positioned team had lesser points than our goal difference. We did lots of great things in last season and by no means we can call ourselves lucky to win the title. This season is different but it is not Carlo's fault entirely. To some extent he is responsible for few bad things but he can not take the entire responsibility. If Carlo has to go then few money grabbing lazy players should be shown the door before that.

Carlo has his demerits. I agree . But think about few matches in the past. 1. Game against newcastle : Kalou missed a sitter which is unacceptable at this level 2. Game against Spur: Drogba missed penalty at injury time. Unlucky 3. Game against Everton: we conceded at injury time. 4. Game against Aston villa : Again we conceded at injury time. None of these is Carlo's fault. If we were little bit more lucky and competent then we can gain 8 more points and could have 2nd spot at this point of time. I don't know whether Carlo is the right person to make a dynasty here. But He deserves a chance.

We have to play against man city and spuds at home, two games against manure, and one away games against Everton. Except against spuds there are no guarantees of getting points . i hope for the best and prepare for the worst. Sorry for being pessimistic

The winter transfer cost will come under player amortization expenses which is around 71mp over 5 and half yrs that is ~ 13 mp /yr and the new wages, which is around 11 mp/year, will make a total expenditure of 24 mp per yr. In this season we have already saved 25 mp of wage bill . which means our operating loss actually reduces even after these signings. . if we can increase our revenue by 10 % and if we can progress to CL final then we can reduce this loss substantially.
