Baring in mind, Cech is not exactly innocent when it comes to undermining the managers. Scolari identified him as one of the most rowdy of rebels who wanted him sack. So don't be surprised if Cech was playing some part in the mutiny.
I would have suppported him all the way. Its clear that there is a core of about 6-8 players who feel they are the club and untouchable. We will never move forward and get a new identity when they are still in the team. But how can you break it up when they have good contact with the owner. Yet I laughed my ass off that FB. The guy who claims any news article that even mentions the prospect of player power is part of some evil anti-Chelsea media conspiracy to tarnish the club, is posting this as truth. Laughable.
LOL, he did not realise we won the game even though he set up the winning goal. http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sport/football/4226253/Ramires-did-not-know-Chelsea-had-beaten-Benfica.html
Jamie Redknapp is a complete dick. Robbie has dropped the same players that AVB did against Napoli, yet Redknapp is now going on the idea of frshness and says Drogba and Lampard will play next game. What a dick.
With Guus, you to bear in mind that the only club he has done well with was his two spells with PSV. Apart from that he has been completly average (Valencia) or a complete flop (Real Madrid in the 90s). We are only judging him during a sport shell where veryone was glad and motivated that the previous manager was sacked.
If that was the case Terry would be long gone when City were offering £30 million. When it comes to big names it seems the board are too scared of selling (even if its needed) because it might cause an uproar. I remember Bruce Buck saying that they did not ant to sell Drogba last summer becuase it might of upsetted some fans.
I remember reading another Chelsea forum, and a member on their claimed he had a friend who worked at Cobham. Apparently (according to this guy's friend) he was not just the worst performing player at Cobham training grounds, but the worst he had ever seen. Although I can't see him being that bad looking at his goals at reserve.
--------------Cech------------------- Ivanovic (If fit)---Cahil----Luiz------Bertrand ------------Romeu------Mikel----------------- Sturridge---------Mata--------Merieles------- ---------------------Torres------------------------- Presuming Terry is not fit for the game.
I'm sorrry but he committed the sin of raising his arms in front of him instead putting them at the back. Complete liability, needs to be sold, utter shit. No excuses.
With the exception of Mata, Luiz, Torres and Cahill, none seem they were up to it. I thought t was nerves at first, but when Essien and Drogba came on i was clear that many had interest elewhere. Still need an overhaul in the summer.
Apparently there some fans at the bridge shouting abuse at him and telling him to fuck off back to Portugal along with AVB. I guess this was a reaction to the rumors that Raul was not happy how AVB was treated.
I've just looked at his starts, he usually appears in about 40-50 games a season, getting about 10-12 goals every season. Today was just his 13 appearance this season foor Chelsea, but he has got 4 goals this season. So his minutes per goal ratio must be quite good without the context.
