You are crazy ,Luiz could be the best in the world ,but he needs to wake up and defend properly ,today he was his casual bad self and that casualness cost us a terrible first goal it was inexcusable.
-
He did nothing wrong to be fair ,but even he must be asking himself if he has a future at the club under Jose, I mean Rammy and Lamps are his first choice midfield two that is obvious now ,but Essien is now next in line to play it seems. The excuses are over and reality is dawning to all Chelsea fans who could not see he brought very little to Chelsea Football Club, time for us and him to move on. Sorry fanboys but you lost the argument and it has been painful trying to point it out . But we need to have better than him and I wish him all the best at his next club ,if he decides to stay he will be ripping us off like Bogarde did.
-
Him and Rammy were superb today, our first choice midfield two.
-
There are no long high balls that is what Stoke do ,try to understand the difference between a long high ball and a long pass .
-
Agree he was terrible today ,but he is one you can usually rely on ,so very harsh to dig him out on one bad game .
-
He was awful only one term to describe his performance "an accident waiting to happen" and the lad has so much talent but he needs to take defending seriously ,JT has never played as badly as Luiz did today in a decade.
-
Very casual and complacent ,he is lucky to be in the team at the moment ,because Cahill was very good when he played ,Luiz needs to wake up and stop acting the clown as he has great ability but a suspect temperament ,he gave that goal away by not being alert ,which is a trait he has that needs to be eradicated and quickly .
-
I guess this is a debate of some kind for supporters but it is clear Jose has decided that Lamps and Rammy are our best pair ,the problem is I am not sure we have cover for these two and a midfield signing must be a proirity or one of the young kids to step up Chalobert or Josh? to back up Rammy and Lamps. ,I do not know if Essien is still up to it? and he is now our back up.
-
Essien on the bench again ,we had a big problem in the first half v Spurs ,does not look good for Mikel ,he should be looking for the exit door at christmas,Jose was always going to sort out the problem we have had and it is clear Jose does not rate him. Sorry chaps but Jose was never going to not see through Mikel ,he is too good a manager for that. That is twice Essien has been preferred as our substitute midfielder in league matches.

Cech Ivan Bertrand JT Luiz Lampard Ramires Hazard Mata Willian Etoo Etoo Mata
-
We will not be employing a sitting midfielder who doubles up as a centre back aka Brazil ,we have two midfielders do you not listen to the manager?
-
Ivanovich becomes part of any three at the back for us ,not our two midfileders as happened at Norwich ,Brazil are nothing to do with our formation.
-
4-1 ,Torres 2 .
-
I think Roy would, after Cahill and Jageilka he has Smalling and Jones ,both are miles away from being world cup players . And you must remember that Roy and Capello both picked JT in front of Ferdinand when both were available ,so Roy obvoiously rates JT .
-
Rio Ferdinand was chosen for England after referring to Ashley Cole as a choc-ice and found guilty of making a remark with racial overtures he has since retired from international football ,if JT makes himself available again as Jose hinted at ,then under a new chairman their is no reason why he should not be picked. As Jose said he retired prematurely ,this is obviously the first step towards JT making himself available to play for England again.
-
JT is a proud Englishman and he will want to play for his country in the world cup ,after that the FA can go forth ,but JT deserves the chance to play in the world cup under a new chairman ,JT fell out with Bernstein who was a PC .
-
I was referring to Chelsea not Brazil ,Jose spoke about his two midfielders not a holder and a runner or two holders ,he spoke about his two midfielders not sure what Brazil has to do with Chelsea's formation? I dont see us playing with a third centre half in the near future under Jose judging by his comments where he spoke about his two midfielders and how he saw Lampard as very much part of his short and long term plans .
-
I would love it if Torres can rise from the dead under Jose's guidance ,their is no doubt in the game v Spurs he was super motivated and apparently he has worked round the clock to be fit for today ,if Jose can bring Nando back to life he is a miracle worker. If anyone can Jose ,can.

Petition to get Capt,Leader,Legend back in the England squad for the world cup in Brazil............................................
-
Make no mistake Lamps is going nowhere and will be with us next season and rightly so ,great from Jose yesterday when he said Frank will be good for at LEAST another two seasons ,however I do agree that we need another quality midfielder in our squad ,another point was Jose does not talk about holding midfield players but his two midfield players, these two need to be box to box and have very good stamina and work together pressing and recovering their positions,we do not have a sitting holder in our team anymore, the role is redundant.
-
Mourinho will want Frank to stay, you boys really do not learn ,do you? If Lampard leaves it will be his choice and will be to America ,but Jose is sure to want to keep him . Mikel will be leaving unless he decides to sit on his contract like Bogarde. I reckon JT and Frank will be offered new deals at Christmas by Mourinho ,he judges on performance not age and both are first choice on performance.
-
Dont get me onto Mikel please ,Barbara !!!! Torres v Bayern was a superb counter as well , Hazard at Norwich? off the top of my head.
-
Best individual performance you've ever seen?
Phil Driver replied to Shane's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
Eddie Niedzwiecki better known as Eddie for obvious reasons - away in the League Cup v Fulham - I had the pleasure of sitting next to a pissed up Phil Daniels that night in Putney and if he can remember anything I am sure he will tell you how well Eddie played ,he was brilliant. -
All this stuff is very good ,but strangely the thing that I noticed most was 200 + goals, loads of trophies and a superb footballer .

You do need to be fast ,very fast in your thinking and appreciation of the game ,this relates to Robguima's post and his comments about first touch passing off of either side and speed of thought, awareness , execution and positioning, the best example of this at Chelsea is John Terry he is not quick but he is a technically excellent footballer, great first touch plays off of either side and he always sees the best option, one thing that amazes me about JT is how many of his headed clearances in fact are directed towards a Chelsea player ,this is because he is aware and can read the game, his passing will always see the best option off either foot ,long and short, first touch when on . skipper I think you are getting the fast context mixed up ,it does not mean you have to be Usain Bolt. However if you are not a fast mobile player you do have to be very fast in your thinking and that includes positioning, control , awareness and execution of passing off of either foot.
