I would rather AvB sign unknown young players like Romeu then spending fuckloads for a player that is in there late 20's or 30's, who have half the ambition. AvB is a scout first, so hopefully he will rely on his talents to sign players that will benefit the side, present to the future!

Seeing the squad depth compared to ours and getting an easy result is really a sickening thing to see. And to hear that on SSN they are on about AvB saying he isn't going to be spending money on players doesn't help! Hopefully he is just adding fuel for the fire and amking sure the media has something to be going on about, while he does the business behind the scenes. I think it is clear we need more additions, especially if more players are leaving - Alex, Kalou and Malouda - three players which are listed as leaving, Alex we need a replacement, or otherwise we could have a problem if a defender gets injured or banned. From what i have seen from the MoTD highlights, Torres had the usual good performance but still ventured out wide, denying the possibilty of him adding to his goals this season. I hope AvB has a word with him and warn him that unless he gets more disclipined with his movement off the ball, and always try to be in the box - he won't be playing as many games as he could.

Loan would be a good move, but if we can sign someone like Hazard who can play on either wings as well as an second-striker - that kind of versatilite is something we need! We could also McEarhan in a sort of role where he can be played on the left, if AvB doesn't loan him out - but only for the smaller teams. It is far too risky to be playing Danny in the middle when he is excelling so perfectly on the right, of course he needs to work on his team-work a bit, but he has shown glimspes he has potential to be playing there! Tbh, i don't know much about Krasic - but given the majority of the posts on here, we would be asking too much of him with a full transfer - maybe a loan till the end of the season with an option to buy him if he impresses?
