You know what Sam, that really shocked me. Lampard has always been the superb pro, he has always conducted himself in a brilliant way (except for a few times in his private life allegedly). I think the reason why Frank reacted that way was because he felt that AVB was going to chop him out the team next season, frank is taking a chance on a new manager coming in and looking at his goal record and thinking he still has ''a lot to offer''. That is how a few members of our squad have stayed longer then they should, its because new managers keep thinking they still have it in them. Fergie has been at United that long that he just feels it when an Andy Cole or Beckham is coming to the end.

Yes but its just silly, Roman also ''Officiated Drogba's wedding'' I mean for fucks sake. The new manager has to contend with a group of players who are Roman's pals and if he doesn't do what THEY like then there will be conversations between the players and owner which is unhealthy. I prefer it the Glazer/Mansour way of completely detaching themselves from the club and letting the football people run it. No player should have the owners telephone number or email address and they should only report to the manager, we pay the manager to manage the team. I remember when Real Madrid had the Spanish lobby group in their dressing room it was Raul who was the leader in our case it's probably John Terry, Raul and Casillas basically managed the club for years.
-
Yes I agree and he looks like he has lost weight and he is a bit more agile. He held the ball up well for Belgium and he was making runs, I would rather see him start tonight !
-
Apparently Romelu Lukaku was not involved in yesterday's reserve game and RDM has been his mentor since joining the club. I can see Romelu starting this game or he could get the last 30 mins if ladyboy plays.
-
I really can't be bothered going through the archives but I definitely seen various photo's of the players taking a dip in his Yacht.
-
I strongly believe that we have a very very powerful lobbyist group at Chelsea. They're the older players who pick and choose which manager is to their taste or not. Terry, Lampard, A.Cole and Cech is what I suspect, Drogba and Essien and a few others are neutral in my opinion. This lobby group have so much power and I suspect they are very close to Roman, if you look at Man utd their owners are hardly ever there and you can't tell me any of the players at City have Sheikh Mansour's telephone number...... they are completely detached from the club and I like it like that. You can see various photo's of the players on Roman's yacht and I don't like that. If you look at most companies and business's you will see the owner does not strike a close relationship with his employee's, its because there are sooooo many problems that can arise from that. First they will have a drink with you and slowly but surely they will get so close to you personally that any new Manager or supervisor that is employed is weaker then the company employee who is supposed to listen to the manager.

We've got enough players who play his role anyway. Essien will settle there and we have Romeu too, why do we fucking love holding players at this club. We are talking about this holding player when we have not had a creative midfielder for donkey's. CLOSE THE THREAD PLEASE !!!!!

If we get SVEN I'll leave a skid mark on my under wear. I'm being serious here, I'll panic because SVEN is one of the few coaches in the world who doesn't have a football philosophy and that could be detrimental to us.
-
I thought he'd be gutted .
-
We really need another flair player in this squad.
-
He's a London man born and bred, good to have someone like that around the club.
-
What are we going to do after 2 years when he fucks off ???? We don't need to rush it right now, hopefully RDM can steady the ship like Hiddink did but I'm not really confident of that. We need continuity now, we need someone with experience who will be man enough to break the spine of this team and replace it with young hungry players.

I can't believe Mourinho has 77 votes, I think people are voting with their hearts not their heads. Mourinho loves Mourino and Mourinho only, he doesn't give a shit about any specific football club he just wants to win trophies to boost his EGO. We need a manager who will stay at this club and build a culture like Alex Ferguson has at united. Alex Ferguson has been at united that long he just knows when players like Andy Cole, David Beckham, Dwight Yorke are finished. He signed Ashley Young in the summer and now he has 3 of the best crossers of the ball in the league, which perfectly fits the united way of playing the game, get the ball out wide and whip it in. Arsene Wenger has a culture at Arsenal and Pep has a culture at Barca, Chelsea and Real madrid have no culture whatsoever and you know why ???? BECAUSE WE CAN'T KEEP A MANAGER FOR LONGER THEN A FEW MONTHS.
-
I don't really want Mourinho back because I don't believe in people going BACK. Mourinho is not a long term manager he arrives makes love with the club, he wins things and ties the whole club to him and even the fans want to run through walls for him then he fucks off.
-
Frank Lampard has really shocked me with his attitude recently, its just so not Lamps to act like twat. These footballers are for the most part all the same though, they don't give a shit about fans its all about lifestyle.
-
I just hope the players will respect and fight for RDM. My worry is RDM is too friendly with a lot of them and they might see him as '' one of the lads'' which would be terrible in all honesty. RDM needs to use psychology too turn these players into fighters because that is what we need. You know what ? Mata has actually been poor for a while now ( barring Napoli) and he's only getting away with it because his poor performance is sooo much better then the other players. Sturridge has been poor for a while too and he needs to step his game up but we were never going to rely on those 2 young players for the whole season its just not sustainable. Torres needs to bloody get some fire in his belly and so does Ashley Cole, Ramires and maybe Essien but Ramires mainly is the only player to really take the fight to the opposition and that is why I have so much respect for Rami because he tries hard !
-
EYE OPENER !
-
I don't really agree with RDM taking over because he's another coach. These idiots who represent Chelsea FC these days need a fucking manager who will kick them into order because i know a lot of them still have it in them for a last HURAHH !!!!!!!!!1

Also AVB was not a manager, he was a track suit coach which is different. Alex ferguson is a manager, Harry redknapp is a manager too. David Moyes is a track suit manager so is Martin O'neill. There is a big difference between a Manager leading a club and a Track Suit coach, a manager has got to be over 40 years of age with experience of Managing a club. Mourinho was a manager and that was how he got the players to die for him lol. Managers get involved in mind games, coaches don't really get involved in that.
-
AVB could become a brilliant manager in the future. I just think he's too young at the moment, if you enter management at that age you have to spend your first 10 years managing a small-mid club then if you have continued success with your own philosophy then you can enter the big arena with experiences of handing ego's. If Hiddink had been our manager from the start of the season I can guarantee you one thing from my countryman, Hiddink would have had the whole squad pulling in the same direction. AVB made crucial mistakes like shitting all over Alex and our former golden boot winner Anelka, he handled that like he had never took any management courses in his life and it back fired horribly. We want the manager to be tough with under performing players but we want them to do it in a clever way. He was very naive tactically, the guy played a high line against David Silva and it really showed me how inexperienced he was, you can't play a high line against a player with Silva's vision its just not logical. He was too young and inexperienced and our club can not afford to take on an apprentice, I was excited when he first arrived and backed him until it was clear as day that he was not ready for it at all.
-
Well Mata looks like a young AVB so we'll still see a AVB lookalike around the club.
-
Don't be silly Justin. I'm stating a fact we were fucked at that time and Roman saved the club, I along with many fans were shitting ourselves (despite getting into the CL) back in 2003 because our future looked so dull, Roman arrived and saved us from possible liquidation. Thankfully we are a big enough club now that if Roman wanted to sell we would get very wealthy owners into the club. We are getting better financially every single season and if it was not for the past managers we are still paying off the club would of been close to being self-sufficient, the club has grew 10 fold world wide and we are in good shape. If Roman wanted to leave tomorrow he would want to sell it just like any sane person and the person who bought it would have to be extremely wealthy because the club is worth more then 800 million. This whole notion of Roman walking away without selling is absurd !
-
He's the sole reason why we are a club at the moment, without Roman Chelsea football club would of gone into administration and the club could of possibly ceased to exist, we were in so much trouble financially like Portsmouth. The club had spent wayyy beyond its means for soooo long and that's how we got players like Jimmy Hasselbaink for 11 million BACK THEN.
-
I'm over the moon, I really think we got away with a potential land mine here. AVB was too young and inexperienced, his tactical decisions caused us to concede many goals like when Balotelli ran in behind and dropped Cech on route to goal. Now think about this, I want everyone to seriously consider what I'm about to say on a tactical stand point, who the hell starts a game against Man City a team who posses DAVID SILVA with a high line ????? We were caught numerous times this season with a high line even the Norwich striker pissed all over our high line on the opening day. That's the type of mistake young managers make and that's why managers should not be able to manage big clubs until they are at least 40 years of age in my opinion.
-
I don't know about Mata but i would imagine Ramires will probably feel like shit today and so will Luiz, the Portuguese speaking bunch will be gutted. I could see their affection for AVB when Rami scored against Wolves.
