He is a brilliant talent, he would cost a huge amount though.
-
I think we need a few midfielders who can pass the ball forward.
-
I meant it in a general sense, when teams go 10 men against united then you know what's going to happen.
-
Sam who would you play instead of Drogba ??? Lets be honest, Torres went through the whole Africa cup of nations without scoring a goal. Sturridge is probably needed out wide and Kalou is Shit. So we don't have many options and he's scoring at the moment.
-
If Torres had started and played the whole game Stoke would of got a shut out and we would of drawn 0-0. Torres would have hit it against the keeper, Drogba is finished but he still has a lot more to offer for the rest of the season then Fernando Lipstick.
-
That was bloody shit, if that was United or City they would of crushed Stoke by cutting them open consistently. Do not for one second allow Drogba's goal to paper over the cracks ! Raul is really pissing me off, he's just sooooo average and its not good enough. Kalou has got away with playing for this club for 5 seasons now and i think he has done well for himself because the truth is he's a lower premierleague standard player.
-
If I was either Malouda or Kalou reading this thread I would feel like utter shit reading these serious debates.
-
This whole Kalouda debating is hilarious, people are actually SERIOUSLY debating on which player will be the least liability in the team. How the fuck did we get this bad lol the first 2 years of the new Era was amazing the future looked so rosy but its all come crashing down.
-
@Sloth Sturridge was a steal lol and that is why Mancini feels hard done by despite having the players he has got in his squad. I think Sturridge's dribbling has improved a lot since he arrived back from Bolton.
-
We can't even sell out Stamford Bridge, they are sell match tickets in the box office to random people without memberships lol, chill out Roman !
-
This might actually bring him down to earth and neutralize his EGO ?
-
Yes he's missed a few recently but he keeps going for it and he's not hiding. He'll find the net again very soon, i think he could get a couple against Napoli.
-
Zidane was good but he was not as good as Messi. Zidane was probably better at one thing and that was vision (maybe his long shots too but that's debatable) but Messi kills him at everything else.
-
hahahahah this made me spit my tea all over my desk hahaha .

The question is............. ''Who should be our main striker next season''. Can anyone who voted for Torres please explain to me why he ''should'' be our main striker next season ? What has he done to even deserve a place in our squad ? If we had bought Torres for 5 million pounds then he would have no votes, people are still clinging on to a lost hope because once upon a time he was a supreme striker. FACE IT GUYS AND GALS WE HAVE BEEN FUCKED OVER BIG TIME !
-
Only the manager is ''accountable'' at this club. I think Borini will be a superb goal scorer in future, his movement plus finishing is un-believ-able. He has 8 goals in 16 games in Serie A and he has already made his debut for the national squad this year. We just don't give young players a chance though !
-
Yes but he has said he wants to play games repetitively. He won't play games at City to even prove himself, Adam Johnson has hardly been given a chance. If he wants to play games and he also wants to play for a big club then Chelsea is the only option, Arsenal will not even dare bidding for him.
-
Yeah I agree, I don't know if Kakuta will want to come back here. He's never going to play behind the strikers at this club because we probably will never play with a number 10. There will be clubs wanting to buy him in the summer and I think he will probably leave in the end. I think its a joke that players like John O'shea and Jay Spearing can break through at Liverpool and Man utd but players like Borini, Stoch and Kakuta get shit on by managers who are not allowed to take a chance. We will never see a youngster break through unless we give a long term contract and commitment to a manager.
-
If he wants to go to City then they can have him and I don't want him. I don't want a player that is stupid enough to sign for a club were he will play Carling cup games. He will not get into their team FACT, he's a good player but he ain't world class already and City have too many players who want to play that role.
-
@FrancoZola you don't have to be in the dressing room to know what he was like. I know for a fact that he was a disruptive influence because what you must understand is Frank is an educated person. Those comments he made to the media were calculated, he's not stupid he fully understood that the last thing we needed as a club was for a major player like himself to bring out the dirty laundry. I have had conversations with Frank in the past while he has been signing my merchandise and he is extremely calculated and he thinks before he answers your question. He knows that the media will fight to the end to produce any sort of bullshit story to derail us and the last thing he needed to do was give them material to do it with.
-
I don't think I have ever seen anything as shocking as that in football. Roman will have to write that off too, hopefully it will make Roman stay out of our transfers in future.
-
Yeah I'm sick and tired of him too. He's finished, he was just one of those players like Kaka who had 3 years of absolute brilliance and then capitulated. I think he's gone 24 hours of football without a goal, that is a whole day and night of football without scoring. The last player I seen have that much of a shocker in front of goal was when Crouch joined Liverpool back in 05, we absolutely ripped Crouch to death on the old forum and now its happened to us.
-
I certainly would not be ok with Glenn Hoddle, he's been out the game for far too long.
-
I really really feel sorry for him now. Watching Torres trying to do the things he used to do and watching him fail consistently is just horrible, that chance he had today would of been a goal at Liverpool. He rejected the penalty because if he had missed he would of sunk into a new low and that would of destroyed him.
-
Torres should of been man enough to have taken that penalty, his confidence is sooo low that he rejected it. Raul, Brani and Mata tried to convince him to take it, I think it would of been wonderful for his confidence. The game was played at a good tempo, Ivo was the man of the match and Ramires was supreme going forward. Mata's game intelligence was brilliant and I thought the defenders had a solid game too.
