Ok, that might be the case, but when it comes to twitter I see everything as just rumors/speculations unless it comes from one of the bigger, trusted sources (BBC,sky etc) otherwise it's to difficult to filter out the wannabee ITKs .

Still on the fence on this transfer. He's a quality left back who will certainly improve us, but his age and reported fee is quite worrying. A price around 10 - 12m would be reasonable, but the reported numbers of £20m + is just silly for a 28 year old left back.. Would rather we just splash 5m more and throw in Bertrand or something for Shaw, who might be less experienced but is still one of the best left backs in premier league at the age of 18 and would help us keep an "english core" in the team. Then again in the end, it's up to how Mou and the board feel about it and I trust them to make the best choice for the club.

Sad if this is true. Since I started supporting Chelsea, Lamps has always been one of my favorite players. I can kinda understand his situation though, he wouldn't be playing much if he stayed with us next season, it's just a shame he didn't get a proper send off. Hopefully he'll get a testimonial soon, and I'm certain he will be back at the club in some sort of coaching role in the future.

He's 29 years old, I see no sense in buying him after all the talks of us building for the future etc. Wouldn't be much of an upgrade to any of our current players either.

I recall Mata studying on distance for a degree in marketing while playing for us, some footballers maybe just want to do something interesting and usefull with their spare time. Good for him!

I am still not sure what to do with the cech/courtois situation, I think it also depends on Cechs injury and recovery time.
