City made all the right moves in the off-season, even Mourinho admitted this. They got rid of dead weight and added quality pieces that will help them win. Not only that, but they hired a manager that works well with the players on an individual level, not just in terms of tactics. He'll bring the best out of the players that were already there. Incredibly dangerous team, and definite favorite to win the title.

I'm looking at the City squad, and damn, they have some big strong boys on the team. We struggled with their size and strength last season. I can't help but think we should add someone like Khedira to add some steel to the midfield.

The thing is... with Rooney, you know what you're getting. You're getting guaranteed Prem production and a sterling track record. No issues with acclimation of any kind, football or otherwise. Kit sales through the roof, raising the profile of the club, and the sheer drama and fun of watching him in blue, especially when it comes time to play against his *hopefully* former club (added motivation to score for him).

Just get him here. Our chances of winning the title go up by 15% at the least, with him on the team.

I'm just sitting back and laughing at all of this. 63 million? Unbelievable. There are other options available - options that wont break the bank and tie your hands in other segments that need to be addressed. Is he good? Yes. Is he amazing? Probably. Is he 63 mil. amazing? Fuck no.
