See this is exactly what I was on about when you can turn to the bench for other options and you have people now sat there, depending on the starting line up like Schwarzer, Schurlle, Lukaku and De Bruyne. All of a sudden things have picked up without spending stupid amounts. And remember....Jose is back....we are in safe hands, no pun intended.

Believe it or not I fitted his tv for him when he was at Boro, top bloke and an outstanding keeper. Smart from cfc, very smart signing. Well done the board.
-
This is a tremendous bit of business, anyone who slates the board need to be shown this deal alone. Yes they have made mistakes but this solidifies our squad, I have no doubt now that if Cech is injured this fella can do a job, he's brilliant.

i see banter is lost on you, oh well never mind I will remember in future you are serious and banter is beyond you.

Did it ever start?

"There have been no offers yet, but Liverpool know exactly what is going on and what I want," Suarez told Uruguayan radio station Sport 890 "My agent is in charge, he knows what I want, I am resting and relaxed. I am due back in about ten days, on the 21st of July (for the friendly with Melbourne Victory)... a phone call could change everything." "It's good to know that I am still valued by teams like Arsenal. Friends call me up to ask if I am moving to Chelsea, to which I laugh." Luis Suarez On the rumours linking him with Premier League rivals Arsenal and Chelsea, Suarez said: "It's good to know that I am still valued by teams like Arsenal. Friends call me up to ask if I am moving to Chelsea, to which I laugh." "Don't believe everything you read or hear! I am sometimes off the grid. I don't even know where my phone is sometimes." http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11095/8815172/Liverpool-striker-Luis-Suarez-flattered-by-Arsenal-Chelsea-links

Good interview just been on Talksport with a Dutch journalist and he was asked about Van Ginkel. Apparently Jose invited him to Cobham only a few weeks ago and showed him around. Van Ginkel said if I sign I want to go out on loan, Jose said no, and apparently said he had watched him in the Under 21 tournament and also told him that he had seen enough of him to know exactly why he would be giving him plenty of game time. The reporter also spoke about how talented he was and how excited we should be at seeing this boy.

That would be as strange as your spelling.
-
Yep, no worries at all.
-
No mention of potential fee....They will offer them 15-20M without any thought at all.
-
I think Suarez will end up there too.
-
According to Il Corriere in Italy, PSG have lodged an official bid for Roma's Daniele de Rossi. No mention of potential fee

Karl-Heinz Rummenigge confirms that Robert Lewandowski will join Bayern in 2014

Astronomical figures, just wow.
-
I bet you a shit load more money would make him comfortable. Amazing what that paper stuff with the Queen's head on does to people.
-
I still think we will secure a top player soon, not sure who but I would assume it will be a forward and a midfielder and I think both Rooney and Suarez are within reach without doubt.
-
Courtois wouldn't come back here and sit on the bench, hence why he staying at Atletico where he is gaining valuable game time and is a regular starter. The club have the whole situation in hand, we either allow Courtois to grow and develop or fetch him back and let him rot on the bench. This is the catch 22 we are in, if Cech gets injured we have a problem, I don't mind Hilario but we need better to strengthen the squad.

30m for Jovetic is a complete joke, he's a good player but not for 30M. Thanks, but no thanks.
-
Not surprised at this one bit, he's a very good player playing at a crap side, but I am still not convinced he is 20m plus striker even after a good season.
-
To see his face like that makes my heart warm. Jose love.
-
Hazard, Mata and a top striker = a bomb.
-
Pepe is shite.
-
Just to fucking Bayern and stop tossing around.

I think there is a distinct difference between Mario and Luis. One is completely heads gone and the other being temperament, putting it into categories I would say Mario is heads gone, complete nugget of the highest order. Whilst Luis is no saint I feel what he has, can be worked on. Mario in my opinion will always be pandered around, he can walk off, worry a manager as to what his next move will be. He can win you a game in the blink of an eye but by being 2-1 up you will find yourself a man light and 2-2 in the blink of an eye with him. Suarez whilst being a horrible mug he will give you a Tevez battling performance 9/10, yet in the same game that is heated will do something that just leaves you saying "WTF has he just done" I think he has things that can be taken out of his game easier than Mario, and with Jose I feel he would, out of all the managers, can do. This is all hypothetical of course and me pre-empting, but I just feel one over the other has faculties that can be turned into favour a team. I know I have gone off track with this in comparison with Mario, but I think it is quite intriguing how both match up.

It's not as easy to say "So what if he misses a few games" it isn't a few, it's a lot. That also coupled with what he may potentially cost us in terms of discilplinery conduct and you can have 15 odd games missing for a potential £40-50M striker, that's not good at all. Suarez is a risk without the ban, but with the ban it's nigh on an idiotic move IMO. I am certain this club has a striker lined up, but this Suarez deal makes no sense what so ever, even if he is that good.
