He just said he has spoken with Rooney on several occasions and nothing has changed, he is not for sale and he's been told that Rooney looks in the best shape for some time. I just feel all this is very one sided, it's all generic from Moyes and United and deep down what does the player want? Like I said earlier in the thread, years ago when he was at Boro I was installing TV's and we got a job that came in for his house. He lived in a beautiful part of the country in Harrogate not far from Leeds, which was about an hour journey to Middlesbrough. It was a converted barn and all the doorways where about 5ft 11 high and he's well over 6ft and it was hilarious seeing him duck under every doorway as he made his way through the house. Really nice bloke, got some nice memorabilia off him including gloves and balls etc.

Good interview just been on Talksport with a Dutch journalist and he was asked about Van Ginkel. Apparently Jose invited him to Cobham only a few weeks ago and showed him around. Van Ginkel said if I sign I want to go out on loan, Jose said no, and apparently said he had watched him in the Under 21 tournament and also told him that he had seen enough of him to know exactly why he would be giving him plenty of game time. The reporter also spoke about how talented he was and how excited we should be at seeing this boy.
