Yeah I said that a while back in the thread. I think he is hell bent on leaving personally, and yes they won't want to sell him to us, but on the other hand we may just make them an offer they can't refuse, which is both financially good for them and we get the player we want. This is all hypothetical of course but I just feel Rooney's race is run at United, and like I said yesterday, I think Moyes is saying a lot of things through gritted teeth, or at least that is my take. The request he put in still remains as far as we know, and I hope we are pressing the right buttons in this transfer to make Rooney realize he is a wanted man.

The happy one. Far cry now from the fat one.
-
One cog will start another IMO, once Strootman is announced and Romeu to Valencia I can see De Rossi deal being finished off.
-
I am sure we want him, long road though but I am confident it can happen.
-
Get Jose....fetch.
-
Got to love Guardiola.....He looks like getting Alcantara for 18-21M and he bought Cesc for 40M......you been trolled Barca.
-
Romeu on loan apparently, noises of this guy leaving and a possible De Rossi in scenario........Oh yessssss I think so.

I clicked the Rooney thread and it keeps going to the 'Your latest purchase' thread.

Forgotten/Never lived upto the hype Footballers?
Special Juan replied to kwylino's topic in Football Chat
Half of the hype comes from football manager or FIFA believe it or not. People see stats and immediately think that because he is good on those games we should go for them, without actually seeing them play. -
Is it? Or is it out of your intelligence zone to have a civil debate as to why you agree/disagree? Of course everyone has an opinion, any chance you can share yours with us instead of hiding behind short sharp digs as to why it's pathetic?

Edited for truth.

I have a feeling Jose has told the club to get him Rooney, in that interview when he was asked about him and he replied "Tell him to call me" there was a glint in Jose's eyes, I think this is one he wants and he will make Roman and the board know this. I don't like to get ahead of myself in terms of transfers but a lot points towards him moving on, and of course there will be a lot of clubs sniffing around, not just Chelsea but with the connections here such as Ashley, JT, Frank and Jose I would bet good money he is Chelsea bound if he leaves than anywhere else mentioned. The versatility this bloke could offer would be just massively vital to our title and cup aspirations this season. No way would he hinder the development of the likes of Lukaku or anyone, he would be a huge influence towards the young lads and in the dressing room. You have to look at the positives because they far out way the negatives if this transfer happens. He is no longer the main man at United, Van Persie has that, and with Hernandez, Wellbeck and Henriquez it doesn't look good for him. Even when deployed behind a striker they have Kagawa, Zaha and also Wellbeck who can play off a striker, so to me, Rooney is drowning because he will not get that guarantee he wants of playing up top or even off it. We need to pounce on this, and now is perfect, it just smells so right and if we can, it could be master-stroke by Chelsea. Put your hatred for him and what he has done in the past aside and see it from a total football point of view and soon you will, with an open mind see exactly why signing Rooney is nothing short of a brilliant move for this football club.

Fetch him here, Jose will show Moyes exactly what a fit Rooney really is.
-
We have heard zero from Rooney, only United with 'he isn't for sale'.....I think all this talk from Moyes is done through gritted teeth, and behind it all is a very un happy footballer.
-
as it stands the transfer request is still in, as far as I am aware he wants away
-
My mate got this spot on, he said last night an offer had come in and Rooney will be flying back in the coming days.
-
I bet you Bony has an awesome season and we go in for him next season with a 25M offer....you watch.
-
Love him to go to Bayern just to see all those fucking wankers at United crying into their coffee cups. Toss pots.
-
Bayern always get what they want, apart from when playing in their own back yard for the Champions League trophy
-
Bank Holiday effing Monday too, what a bunch of tossers.

I actually feel more sorry for the mates of Gazza than I do Gazza himself, what a complete waste he is. He won't see the year out.
-
Nah it's too late, this was probably Leonardo's goodbye gift. I bet Cavani will be unveiled in the next few hours to right this wrong.

There is a comparison straight away. Hazard is nigh on the verge of being one of the top footballers in the world if not already, yet you state how much the rise in quality was. Yes he is a squad player, but does that deflect from his achievements from last season? As much as it must annoy you he was a big part of our team last year.

An ex-footballer friend of mine posted on a social network last night "Good luck to Schwarzer at Chelsea" and the comments he received from a previous teams fans were laughable....things like "Way to rot on the bench" This is football fans losing complete perspective of what certain players can bring to certain teams, yet cannot grasp that the said player moved on from their club and has actually bettered himself. Some football fans worry me.

Hang on, your comparing Hazard with Mata now? Your posts are more off track than an Arsenal trophy challenge. You are comparing Schurlle and De Bruyne to someone who has represented Chelsea and delivered the goods. I think some people see a squad player beneath their expectations because of that phrase. No matter whether you wouldn't cry if he was sold you surely cannot take away his contribution for Chelsea last season? Get some perspective for goodness sake.
