Hi all, Thought this would be worth while and allow most to discuss Christmas in one topic. I haven't been a member long around here but the most have made me feel very welcome, and while we like to think we are always right and fail to listen to others etc, we are all here for one reason, we are CFC fans. I would like to personally wish all members here a great Christmas and a happy new year. I think the posts about Mikel have been very consistent from a lot of people on this forum for some time now, quite reflective of how Mikel has been in this period. It's not just an isolated case of the 'dagger in the back' He's been average for some time now.

Tremendous potential, but as said, the midfielder and striker is more of a problem area.

Thing with Mikel is he is 'alright' I'm sorry but we need better than 'alright' we need someone that is consistent more often than not and someone we can look to and quite consistently say....."rock solid again" and not 'he did alright' because most of the time he does do alright, but we are litered with top notch players that now and in the future have a massive ceiling, Mikel, for me, isn't that, we need much better. I'm all for giving one of our other young lads a crack, and this is my opinion but we can do much better than Mikel.
