  1. Last window we would of all taken our mother in laws
  2. The middle paragraph I agree with massively and exactly what we need. Shaw, Kroos and Costa/Cavani. I'm not saying this can happen this summer but the purchases are crucial. After Matic was bought I have every faith Jose will get the right players and the right balance.
  3. Sublime from Real last night, a true demolition of Schalke and some of those goals were devastating. But that goal from Huntelaar was sheer class, his body shape and everything had to be immaculate, and it was. Real could pick 11 out of the crowd for the next leg. Schalke, United, City and Arsenal all looked doomed.
  4. Hate is a strong word, and wrong word to use. I find it very hard to believe any Chelsea fan hates any Chelsea player and think the wording here is used to easy and frequent when it suits people. All people are doing is pointing what issues they have with him and whether people agree with each other or not hate isn't the point here.
  5. I was just using Madrid as an example of that first touch, of course we aren't on par with them but it was an example of quality and execution can kill teams with a few less touches and a killer pass. All this helps if you have very clinical finishers but the point still remains, our quality has to be 100% better.
  6. I'm trying not be to critical here but last night I noticed a couple of things....Does Torres only jump for headers when it suits him? I lost count how many times he just watched the ball go over his head and for the defender to clear. Also, when Willian pressed right up the field and closed down Muslera he approached the keeper, and as he was doing so he was waving people from behind to push up and there was nobody doing so. Torres was wavering about half way line and Schurrle and Hazard weren't far from half way either, this giving the keeper an easy option to pass it to either man wide of Willian.
  7. The big picture is if you look at us game by game is the basics let us down. Last night I lost count how many stray passes went either straight to their team or mis-control by one of our own. This isn't a one match thing but happens every game and far too often. Our decision making on the counter is hideous at times. We break, then all of a sudden Hazard will have a man either side of two defenders and either he, or (Insert Name) will over hit it or take the wrong pass to the wrong player. Take Madrid last night and watch the highlights back. The ball is fizzed into feet not matter what the speed and it's killed instantly and the pass made. Our tenancy a lot of the time is a poor first touch which is then required another touch, by this time the chance of release has gone. Ronaldo's goal last night where he did four million step-overs, watch it again. The ball is fired at him on the run, he takes it into his path with a simple touch off his toe end and doesn't touch it again until he shifts it past the defender to set for a shot....sublime.
  8. Flat as a fart last night, he looks pale and very lethargic.
  9. It was a stab in the dark assumption like you made for Eboue.
  10. I did, he was fucking shite. Along with Ramires, Hazard and Willian.
  11. If you read my post up the page you will see it is both balanced and has points well made. The ref had chances to allow the game to flow but chose to be whistle happy and make general bad decisions. I also like how you point the finger at the ref for disallowing a goal and then go onto to call Terry a bitch. Your gripe should lay with the ref not Terry, but I understand Terry is a hate figure for throwing a ball I can compare Cech's so called time wasting the same as Eboue's because I can. It was comparable in ways that he was taking enormous amounts of time yet you accuse Cech of doing so. Oh and to counter your argument about 'He couldn't decide what to do' neither could Cech.......your go!!! See you in London.
  12. Again, it's never your fault is it? Nor was it Mancini's fault you looked like a pub team for the first 20-25 minutes. As for the ref, he was fucking awful and full of double standards last night. He booked Cech for apparent time wasting but on the same hand it was OK for Eboue to take 20-25 second to take a throw-in whilst he wiped the sweat from his brow, told Drogba where to stand and then couldn't decide to go long or short? Get your Gala tinted glasses off.
  13. Erggghh this is the one fixture I always look to and think "Worried" It's their cup final, they are struggling like a dog on a polished tiled floor. Can see a Gala performance again where we take the lead and try and soak up pressure from them whilst they come on to us like Barcelona. A draw again.
  14. Did well last night, blocked of blatantly a few times and as expected the ref gave fuck all. Can't help but think when he is through on goal I feel he is going to miss everytime and he looks so not in control it's worrying. You can't argue with his goal return but as Jose alluded too, our striker situation is not what it should be.
  15. This lad put the absolute shits up when he cane on. Turning in dangerous areas and his first contribution was to give the ball straight to them. I am not for one moment using him as a scape goat but after all this thread is named Jon Obi Mikel, but I tell what, he's fucking terrible. He couldn't be any further away from the level Matic is at.
  16. Well the sunshine shines from just behind the clouds putting pay to what could of been a dark gloomy day some predicted. First twenty minutes we were excellent, but Gala very poor, our counter attacking was sublime but the decision making of pass was very poor on a number of occasions. Game should of been dead within 20 minutes and Gala out of sight, but once again we stepped off it and that is more annoying than the actual result for me. We really need to up the game better in a number of areas during game. Our ball retention is very poor, we struggle to relieve pressure at the most important times, and the choices of some players to actually dribbling in dangerous areas is worrying. Even at 1-1 we failed to even keep the ball and just take that nasty sting from the game, we chose to incompetent and let the basics pass us by at any given moment. Ref was the usual picky arseholes you get in Europe, reacting to every whistle, moan and groan from the crowd possible and how the fuck he never booked Melo was beyond me. That's the negative done away with, but the most important thing here is we didn't lose and we came away with an away goal. I'm going to stick my neck out here and say they will not be a threat in London, for me we allowed them to dominate that second half, that won't happen again. Thought Azpilicueta was once again tremendous, now he did the basics right, he got rid when needed and linked up well between defence and attack. MOTM for me, for us. Thought Torres did well, but he still doesn't look comfortable at all when through on goal, he looks some what unsure what he is going to do. You have to credit Mancini also in this, it takes bottle to haul a player off after 20 odd minutes and change the game plan, he did that and it kicked them up the arse and sort of rattled us because they fronted us up and pushed us more on the back foot. Drogba was OK, he threatened as much as I thought he might of and barring the goal where JT lost his man I thought both JT and Brana dealt perfectly with him, the threat for me was Yilmaz, his runs were dangerous and in the channels that our CB's struggled with. Away goal, average performance, Drogba didn't score and hell was more like Hull. Hope the fans got home safe...........CAREFREEEEEEEEEE!!!!
  17. There is 28 pages in here, and lost somewhere in it is talk of the game. Good luck in your search.
  18. Wait a second here, did I say anywhere that English fans haven't stabbed anyone? No I didn't, just like some of your fellow Turkish supporters claimed to one of our members that the stabbing were not true and he was brandished a 'Liar' when it was a friend of his. I don't for one second condone stabbing, violence or any other form of related hooliganism in any shape or form. Oh, and I know exactly about your reputation about your 'Noisy Stadium' we have had it shoved down our throats for the past five days thanks to your fellow Turkish fans on this forum.
  19. Read through most of this thread again, here are my thoughts... Galatasaray.............. Better football than Barcelona Arrogance.................Of Man United Blindness..................Of Arsenal Harder than...............Mike Tyson Louder than...............A Bomb More Passionate........Than Hugh Heffner Better Stadium...........Than Bayern, City and Us put together And they....................Don't stab people
  20. There will be, but like some of their supporters last night they are hell bent on spoiling things.
