The problem with Morata is that there was none, literally no available strikers around barring him last summer. Madrid knew were desperate, we were desperate and we had to be held to ransom by Madrid to get him. Lukaku fucked off to United and we had a paddle but no boat whilst on shit creek. I don't look at incoming figures anymore, I look at their ability, how they perform consistently and compare them to what we have right now, and mostly the current situation of the club. We are seeing Sarri start a fresh, new ideas, new way of playing and by the sounds of it he is the one chasing the club to sign Higuain.

He's world class, Courtois is in the last year of his contract coming up, so the sanctions on him are totally different, we are backed into a corner, not really a comparison and both are streets ahead of Willian in their field. Losing Willian wouldn't have any effect on us and the top 4 if we replaced correctly, and yes there are all alternatives out there who would offer more to us right now IMO. Selling Willian at 29 for the amount of money that's been bid makes total sense from a business point of view, and that's exactly how this club operate. You can't claim constantly about long and short term visions when you sack a manager nigh on every 18 months and chop backroom staff like they are vegetables.

We need to look at age and selling value, the picture is much bigger and broader. This offer from Barcelona is huge, not only that, but what he did with Conte was plain wrong, no getting away from that. What this team needs now is ridding of ego's or egos that think they can rule the roost. Anyone who isn't happy or thinks they are better than us should be sold immediately. Willian is a good player, but on the flip side there are much better players out there than Willian who we could get and make us stronger.

Zaha, Pulisic, Bailey and Fekir could all play there. Fekir is more suited to the #10 role though

For me a RW is completely possible if Willian goes and we all know we are in for a striker and if Courtois goes then a keeper.

If Bakayoko is allowed to leave and Drinkwater this would be ideal, he's a class act this kid. Him, Kante and Jorginho would be insanely good.

Zaha is more direct than Willian, he's lightning quick, he beats his man more often than Willian and he doesn't stand waggling his foot over the ball for 10 seconds slowing the playing down. He's younger and I bet he would be insanely good under Sarri.

I'm trying to look at the big picture, and the first question I asked myself is can Higuain be any worse than Morata, the answer is now way. There is a mentality issue now with Morata, he's weak minded and is offering nothing with Higuain he's a bit of a warrior, that role your fucking sleeves up type and die for the cause, Morata is a tortoise who hides under his shell when things get tough. I canot see how the hell Sarri is going to get Morata playing how he wants, not just in a short time but mould him into half the player of what Higuain offers. I know it's a lot of money but quite frankly at this moment in time it really is not that we should be worrying about, we should be worrying about the fanny we have playing up front who's about to lead the line for our next campaign.
