That is asinine...winning trophies is a collective effort. I don't care if you dislike Rafa, but to want the team to fail on purpose is completely ridiculous.

"I can understand the rivalry in the past (between Chelsea and Liverpool), but I am sure the majority of fans will understand I am a professional and I just want to do my job." (Rafa should've meant minority) For gods sake those comments were made when he was the LIVERPOOL manager. He saw us as a major threat and tried to talk trash and get in our heads. Liverpool aren't even relevant anymore and RB is the Chelsea manager now. Move on.

How did he deserve the abuse? Correct me if i'm wrong but I don't think Rafa was the one who canned RDM. The job was open and he took it, who can blame him.

Reminds me when some of the fans booed Bridge after the JT incident when he did nothing wrong. I'm guessing these fans just needed to vent out their frustration and used Rafa as their scapegoat.

United actually respects its legends, I don't see our board giving an extension to Lampard, under any circumstances.

I honestly thought he'd have at least 1 season to try and win more trophies but even silverware isn't enough these days. Roman's standards are sky high.

As much as I'd love to see him retire at the club, it's selfish from the fans to ask him to take a pay cut just for the sake of warming the bench. If Lampard wants first team football and wants to earn more money somewhere else, he's earned every right to do so.

Rafa must have made adjustments to the defense because it looked much more stable today. Offensively we were piss poor yet again. January can't come any sooner, we need a striker asap.

While its important to recognize what RDM did for us, the season is not over and RB is our coach now. Onwards and upwards. -
My thoughts exactly. His chances of breaking in the first team is still slim imo.

Please tell me one good reason why he wouldn't want to build his reputation and make this a full time job? Not every club is run like Liverpool. He understands the magnitude of this squad and he wants to win trophies. Every manager has it's flaws and it's the fan's duty to judge him based on his results. A lot of people are writing him off already simply because he's not a likable figure. That's what bothers me the most. If he is unable to turn this around and continues to struggle then we have every right to criticize but as of now I think it's in the clubs best interest if we all stfu and support the team on Sunday instead of berating our manager because he made past comments about our flags.
