No.. there's nothing "really wrong" in this team. (except for Torres managing to somehow stay here season after season) We should keep Oscar, he's a good lad with big potential.
No need to overreact .. I'm sure it wasn't really like that. So he loves his role at Brazil better, so what ? isn't it reasonable that he would enjoy more playing a free role? who wouldn't ? I think that the "not very happy" part is a twist on his words.. probably just said that he enjoys the free role more.
35m is a fair price for him. Hope its really done, I just cant understand how somehow we managed not to get a proper ST instead of Torres.. Its always the same - we're linked with top strikers - end up buying no one AND sticking with Fernando . FFS Im sick of it, really hope its done.
I think he's more than "not bad", but we really need to cosider whether or not we want to invest that kind of money in a 29 year old. I will be happy if it happens, but I'd be happier with Shaw.
Last Season vs. This season * Knocked out of CL group stages - Made it to the semi-finals * Out of the league by Jan - Fighting for the title untill the very end * A manager who we all hated - A manager who we all love (and the players would die for him) + he's here to stay
If we really want to be like Real Madrid, Bayern, and the other top teams we should be aiming higher, we should be aiming for world class players, not players like Paulinho.
