I'm having trouble finding the lyrics to No Nay Never (Wild Rover) which I'm sure we sang at the QPR game the other night. I know there are different variants for different teams.
-
This isn't being broadcast is it? I can only see the Pompey v Everton match listed on Sky.
-
Yep, I'm sure i've heard that one too, LMAO What a classic

Fucking stupid, should warrent a spell behind bars to deter others and get the message home that drinking and driving don't mix. Don't these people ever get the message?

Thanks guys, another couple that have just occurred to me are Zigger Zagger Zigger Zagger Oi! Oi! Oi! which is another call and response and there also one to the tune of Wild Rover (it was used in the We all love Clover advert) Looks as though I've got plenty to be getting on with. I owe you one.

Sure the money made from our Sponsers and from TV revenues are important nowdays, but the fans are the lifeline of the club. Without us, the club wouldn't exist.
-
Cheers mate, I appreicate your knowledge and have learnt some of these already. I heard an interesting one before the Tottenham game, and I think it was called Chelsea Allouette, based on the French Song Allouette.

Guys, I need some help with chants that we sing during the matches. I'm trying to learn a new one or two for each match that I go to. At the moment, I feel I should know the following. Carefree Who's That Team They Call the Chelsea Flying High Celery We all follow the Chelsea 10 Men Went to Mow When the Blues Go Steaming In Hello Hello We are the Chelsea Boys You Are My Chelsea Blue is the Colour (I consider this more an anthem, than a chant) Fuck 'em all Chelsea, Chelsea, Chelsea.... Bouncy Bouncy I know there are loads more and am trying to listen to 'em on Chelsea Fanchants, so that I can get a feel for them and listen to the ones that are relavent today. What do you consider to be the most important ones?
-
What do you mean this is the end of the winning streak? Are Wigan that really great a team? We should be able to win this easy, I would have thought. Do you know something the rest of us don't?
-
I was at the match and found it frustrating to watch. It would have been nice to have had at least another goal. Good result obviously in the end a win and another 3 points in the bag. Nice to see Joe Cole playing.

Saw a guy piss behind a telephone kiosk, urghhh People that put their bags on seats on the tube so no one can sit down People that make their legs as wide as possible sitting down so that it's a right squeeze to sit down. People that read their newspapers at full stretch on the tube int eh rush hour
-
Heads must roll and good to see it happens at the top. Let's hope Ron Gourley can do a good job starting with reducing all tickets for PL matches. I know it probably won't happen

From what I have seen of him so far, he is in the words of the Tina Turner song 'Simply the Best'.

Hello and welcome to Talk Chelsea

I'm sure you could still play now if you got the chance. It's something that stays with you forever. When I got to Grade 8 I virtually stopped. You have to bo so good to go any further after grade 8 and have real talent if you want to make it a career. What I used to hate was doing the theory side, I din't want to do that side of music I just wanted to play.
-
Well surely it's up to us to prove him wrong and the way we're playing at the moment I have every faith that we can continue our winning streak. At the moment we've won 11 straight games on the trot equalling Mourihno's record and I think we can win on Wednesday against QPR.
-
Glad you had a good time mate and what a way to end your trip to see the Blues. Yes what a great afternoon, we abosulutely annihhilated them and I couldn't have asked for more. Am so loving it being Matthew Harding Lower. I was in fornt of the commentary box. I hope Drogba is OK and it's nothing too serious. By the way is this a record for us to win all our matches back to back since the start of the season?
-
I think so too that it will be a tight match and need to watch players like Jermain Deofe and Aaron Lennon. We've got Drogba, Anelka and Lamps so I believe we should be able to win this and need to focus on getting the 3 points. Let's make sure we make a killing.

Guus Hiddink on his way back to Chelsea at Frank Arnesen’s expense

I read that on Wikipaedia about him being Technical Director and wasn't sure if that was up-to-date as I know the information in Wikipaedia can't always be trusted. Just looked on the official website and unless I've missed something I couldn't see him listed under the Club information bit or the Management team. -
Also from dailymail.com Carlo's response Carlo Ancelotti insists Chelsea are on the same level as Manchester United despite Harry Redknapp's dig at the Blues ahead of Sunday's clash with Tottenham at Stamford Bridge. Spurs boss Redknapp claims Chelsea have a long way to go before the club are big enough to be classed in the "same bracket as Manchester United". Chelsea's chief-executive Peter Kenyon quit the club this week - five years after he vowed to "turn the world blue" by 2010, and four years after he pledged to make the Blues "the world's number one club" by 2014. But since Roman Abramovich took control of the club in 2003, Chelsea have struggled to win the Champions League - despite reaching five semi-finals in the last six seasons. But Ancelotti insists there is parity between them and United. "Chelsea are on the same level as Manchester United, as a club and as a team," declared Ancelotti. "The only thing is that Manchester has more tradition in respect to Chelsea, but this means that for us it can be a very good motivation to start this season very well." Former chief operating officer Ron Gourlay has been installed as the new chief-executive but Ancelotti took time out to pay tribute to the work of the outgoing Kenyon. His departure also puts the spotlight back onto the club's sporting director Frank Arnesen. The Dane is responsible for the academy at the club and in the wake of FIFA's transfer ban for inducing youngster Gael Kakuta to breach his contract with Lens two years ago, his position is expected to come under further scrutiny. But Ancelotti said: "The role of Frank Arnesen is sporting director and he is working very close with me. I have a good relationship with him and we want to do the best for the club. "Peter Kenyon did a very good job but I didn't know him very well. I spoke with him in the period that I've been here but he leaves a fantastic team and club and he worked very well for Chelsea." Ancelotti insists that Chelsea are certainly not an unbeatable commodity as they prepare for their toughest test of the season against Tottenham on Sunday. The Italian coach has guided the Blues to six straight wins - five in the Barclays Premier League and one in the Champions League - but they will face a revitalised Spurs at Stamford Bridge. Their north London rivals have lost just once this season and Redknapp's side are certainly capable of putting a dent into Chelsea's fine start to the campaign. Ancelotti's side are top of the table going into the game but the Chelsea coach is fully aware that Spurs can put the first blemish on his English record. "I have never seen an unbeatable team," said Ancelotti. "Chelsea is not unbeatable but we are doing well. "I am not surprised by our start to this season. I had one month before the start of the season to know the players, their mental attitude and their quality. "I know the rivalry between the two teams and how important this match is for the fans. We have to pay attention to this and we want to win. "I saw Tottenham's last games and they have started very well. For me it was a surprise, they played very well against Liverpool and Manchester United. "They lost that game but they have good style and quality players. In attack, Jermain Defoe is a very dangerous striker and Aaron Lennon is a very quick player. We have to pay attention to this because they can cause us difficulties in the game. "But we are in a very good condition and have a very good feeling about our play. We have the possibility to win this important match. "I said last week that this is a very important moment of the season and we have started very well with victory over Stoke and Porto and we want to continue this. "Tottenham will play two strikers that we will have to control. We know the quality of Peter Crouch, Lennon and Defoe. They can be dangerous because they are very quick. We don't leave the possibility for them to counter-attack against us. "We want to start at the top of the league and maintain this position and if possible, improve the distance between us and the second placed team." This would be a good move I believe as it will benifit us having someone with his experience at the club. I'm sure everyone at the club would be happy to see him back. -
I think we need to focus on developing the talent from the Youth Academy and spotting potential stars of the future. Of course we need to stay on top and win the major trophies, i.e. Chmpaions League, Premiere League, Carling Cup and the FA Cup. Extend our current stadium or build a new one at some point.
