Glad you're back, you had me worried for a bit. You were missed, certainly by me.
-
I think he normally says if he's going away. BTW, i'm glad I make someone laugh. Anyway, back on topic, yeah i'll look forward to seeing 'Alex' in action soon.
-
Nah, don't worry. I just suddenly thought I hadn't seen anything from Bluelion online. Perhaps he's gone away on holiday?
-

I'm presuming that we are talking about Bluelion here, as I've noticed that he hasn't been online since Sunday. I've been worried, too, I sent him a PM last night and he hasn't got back to me. I asked Stev30 whether he knew anything. Steve said it was probably he had a lot of school work on. My bad, I just realised that you're talking about 'Alex'
-
You should have asked glen if he had any plans to come and play for us ha ha...
-
What the fuck were they doing there? Couldn't they tell the difference between blue and red
-
Awesome, you certainly had a busy time and look forward to your pics tomorrow. I'm really jealous. Well the reason the scum probably didn't talk to one another is that they knew that they would be beaten by us!!!
-
Fuck me mate, you sound as though you had a really good time. Did you get Carvalho's signature? Did you take any pics? Look at you spending all that time with the scum. You're not thinking of defecting are you.....? I met a girl from Northern Ireland in the SO Bar about an hour and a half before the match and I thought for a moment that it might have been you. It turned out it wasn't you, although she was with someone else, but I don't think that was you either. Glad you had a good time and I think all the regulars should meet up sometime.
-
Thanks mate. It was a really good atmosphere and the people around me were very friendly. I missed Kerry Dixon's signing at the megastore as it was from 12 till 2, however I did a get a copy of Mark Worralls new book, 'Chelsea Here, Chelsea There wiht Kerry's signature on it. Better luck next time. I also got a copy of a new double DVD set entitled Dazzling Dozen, featuring a match against Liverpool in the Champions League. I think it's this year, i'm going to have a look later when I get home. I thought it was most appropriate to be selling it yesterday considering.

I was very tempted to sing In Your Liverpool Slums at a couple at Wimbledon, but thought better of it. I know I should have done. I had an absolutely fucking good time and enjoyed myself immensly. Well played all round. May Ancelotti rein supreme and let's beat 'em all in the coming months. Roll on Aston Villa, I really can't wait, I am so looking forward to my trip to Villa Park. :woo:
-
I think some people (including the media) wanted us to lose today and prove a point that Ancelotti is not up to the job after what happened at Wigan. I am so glad that we proved them all wrong. Now hopefully everyone will shut up and let him get on with his job. After today we can definitely put what happened at Wigan to bed. :blue scalf:

Just returned from the match and am a very very happy man, I couldn't have asked for a better game. I somehow had a feeling that we would come out on top. For me I thought Hilario did a good job. I think it must have been my singing that helped steered them on to victory

My thoughts exactly, he's come from as you say one of the greatest sides in one the best footballing nations in the world. From what i've read about him, he is extremely experienced and understands what it's like to be a player as well as a manager. He needs to be given a chance to blossom. I think also the players have taken some of the responsibility for Wigan as well and are well aware that they need to perform today, which I'm sure they will do.. We can't blame it all on the manager, there has to be some give and take. I think he did say that he has plans to retire in 2015, so he has time to show what he can do and make his mark on the club.

Welcome to Talk Chelsea :blue scalf:

I watched the 100 years anniversary DVD last night and I particularly found it interesting the section about Ted Drake and how under his management the club got its first bit of silverware. Truly an inspiring manager and definitely should be remembered for what he achieved.
-
I think we should be able to score a couple of goals at least. I hope we send the scum back to their slums with at least a 2-1 win for the Chels. Maybe i'm being a tad optimistic?
-
OK, thanks for the explanation.
-
What I want to know is, is why is it only selected words that are highlighted? I agree it is annoying. I think it's only happened in the last couple of days.
-
OK so if it's illegal to use the 'Y' word what do we chant instead. Everytime I listen to Who's that Team They Call the Chelsea on Fan Chants I can't quite make out what's chanted after the line, Barcelona, Reall Madrid, Tottenham are a load of Y.... My bad, I've worked this out
-
Yes, when I put the mouse over the word it comes up with a pop up for something called adbrite.
-
I've just noticed on some of my posts and for other peoples posts, that some words have gone a shade of green and are underlined in green. It's not a problem, I just wondered why that was?
-
Have a good time mate and enjoy the match, it's gonna be a good one.

Buying tickets for homegame against Blackburn - viagogo

I'd say your best bet is Matthew Harding Lower if you want the atmosphere, speaking from experience as someone new to the club. I'd say probably Row P or there abouts is a good view (gate 14). I've never been in the Shed End which I gather is THE place to be, and I think you might find it more difficult to get tickets in that area of the ground.
