OK thanks, that's a good point.

Well another highly entertaining match, good to see Torres score again proving all the doubters wrong, although marred of course by his sending off. Superb goals from Ramires and Drogba, although regarding Drogba's there were people that had left before that so would have missed it. , why do people do that, it ain't over till the final whistle! Why was Mata taken off he was doing great? Top day out, pre-match drinks :beer:in the Imperial (highly recommended) and whoever says that the atmosphere is dead at the Bridge should have been there yesterday and would have been proved wrong.

I hope Alex you've identified those that have cheated and reprimanded them shame on them.

I thought another entertaining match. I think what impressed me most was a couple of things the fact that we were able to play for 73 minutes with a man down, that surely has to be applauded and the fact that we weren't playing a regular starting XI. Secondly Ross Turnbull, I admit I've not been a fan, but I thought he coped very well and hopefully it will have given him a massive confidence boost.

Still shold be on our guard, doesn't matter who the opposition is, any team can cause us problems.
-
I am a mere spectator nowdays. Do remember playing when at school and always getting picked last for the team lol, did score a goal once and everyone erupted as I think our team won the match. Not sure what position I was playing at the time (it was a good 20 years ago) , might have been a striker.. but I doubt it.

We shouldn't underestimate Fulham, they can be awkward opponents as we know when we played them at Craven Cottage last season. Will be good to see the likes of Super Josh, Lukaku, Bertrand etc.. play to show us what they can do. Should be to our advantage being at Stamford Bridge.

A tough match, entertaining from start to finish. Forget Torres's missed sitter, i'm sure many a true legend has been in that position before, move on, I have. Had to laugh at Shrek and missing that penalty, a comic performance from him, i'm sure my granny could have done a better job! Chant of the match has to be We're Gonna Win the League towards the end of the match, one of the reasons why I became a Chelsea Fan, the sheer support for the team whatever the final result! It's a shame we don't see that level of support more often at other games.

Will take a draw. Be very interesting to see what team AVB puts out, I think something similar to yesterdays starting XI would be good So gald that Petr is back.

I just read this on someones Facebook Profile, says really what being a Chelsea Supporter is all about "The colour I wear is royal blue. Forever I shall remain loyal and true. Win lose or draw I'm Chelsea to the core from the begining to the end my Chelsea faith I shall defend I stand with pride I shall never run and hide Chelsea till I die !!"

Would recommend you take some form of ID along with you. The box office I believe opens till half time, so you shouldn't have a problem collecting your tickets before kick off.
-
Such a frustrating player to watch. It's all about confdence, but i'm sad to say that I think that that AVB is going to choose other players at his disposal over him to start.
-
Why? Everyone in the Chelsea end where singing his name.

Good to see Danny score, superb, Danny Sturridge, Danny Sturridge, Danny Sturridge, Oh oh oh oh, Danny Sturridge etc.. Our pace seemed to be better yesterday and I thought we put pressure on Sunderland, except for towards the end where we seemed to give up, hence us conceding. Very long day travelling up and back on the train, but worthwhile as always :blue scalf:

Congratulations on reaching 4000, long may you continue

As long as we put in 100 % all the time, that's what's important. Age shouldn't be an issue. Look at us 2 years ago and we didn't exactly have a young squad then I don't think and we still were able to win the double. I don't think they can (manure and citeh) keep their tempo up all the time, bloody hard playing consistenly well every week.

I'm wondering whether we might see a partnership of Torres and Lukaku up front, that is if AVB will play them together, like with Drogba and Anelka a couple of seasons ago, they had that period where they were completely on fire and worked well together.
-
Glad after all the hype we have someone. Don't know much about him, but can't wait to see him in action, maybe he might prove to be the perfect partnership for a certain striker
-
My feeling is he must be doing something right amongst all his bad points to have lasted so long at the club. I wonder if the CFC board know something and are keeping it from the rest of us?
-
I reckon we will sign someone in the dying seconds, just to keep us on tenterhooks just that little bit longer.
-
Too early in the season to start talking about which clubs will go down. I suppose QPR might if they struggle with life in the PL. Don't think any of the others will, they're just going through a bad patch like we had a bad patch last season, although of course in Arsenal's case it's lasted 6 years......

Not yet, but I think at some point it could be Josh. Like JT will become a first team regular and like JT has risen through our academy. I just hope that we never sell him or put him out on loan.

Hate the fact we've got an international break now. Will be travelling up on the train for this one, looking forward to it so much, revenge will be the order of the day.
